Lasts a very, very long time!!!
I bought this in June 2021. This finally burned out today, June 15, 2023.I highly recommend. The most important thing to know (I made this mistake when I first purchased this in April 2021, which led me to buy it again in June 2021) is that once the light is turned off sometimes it cannot be turned right back on because of it needing to cool. I had assumed my April purchase died and tossed it. When I turned off my June purchase and cut it back on, it didn't turn on right away and I had walked away handling something else, forgetting to turn it off. About 15 mins later, the light was back on. So, I decided to test this, which is why I am finally writing my review today, two years later.

Zeke the turtle likes it.
Bought these to replace a much smaller buld that produces a more intense light and heat, but that buld was 50 dollars so I shopped around. I found a drop light and this buld. It does very well.

Only lasted for 18 days
Have my lamp for lizard om a timer 18 days of being on for 10 hours and the bulb is not working any more. The lamp can handle up to 250 watt and still work with another bulb so it's definitely this Imferior low quality bulb

Great heat but kinda green?
Got my temps where they needed to be but it has a green hue, and I've tried it on different fixtures too. It is not dimmable it will go out so I have it on an on off fixture and it's still green. The picture is much worse than in real life it looks terrible on camera 😂

Bulb turns on and off
This bulb has been paired with a light fixture of equal wattage requirements and it keeps going out. It’s pretty big and emits a lot of heat but it’s just continuously going out which is dangerous and annoying considering my bearded dragon needs this bulb emitting heat to survive. Scared to leave the house for too long as this thing may go out where I can’t fix it. It turns off and turns on minutes later after fooling with it. Not sure what the issue is here.
