I normally wear an 8 in boots, and I ordered a 7, and they fit perfectly, so my recommendation would be to order not just a half but one whole size down. Gold hardware looks good, and they seem comfy. Just what I was looking for. Just pay attention to the large sizing. Good luck!

The boots are great and very comfortable. I ordered a standard size 8 that usually fits well (my feet are a bit smaller but wide (7 wide) because I knew I would wear socks. Overall on my feet they are a bit loose and I can pull them on/off without using the zipper. My friend tried them as her feet are a bit larger (8.5-9) than mine and they did fit her feet but won't fit her calf's.

These boots are cute but I personally feel like they run big. I'm a size 7.5 and that is the size I got but I wasn't able to walk properly with these as my foot would slip even with thick socks. They also scratch easily. I ended up giving them away. I will add that my foot is more on the narrow side and maybe these are wide width? Other than that I think for the price they're good but just not for me.

I love the style and look, but they don't fit right. I ordered a 9 (which is typically what I wear). The foot is roughly half a size too big, but the calf is extremely tight. I'm choosing to keep them with the hopes that they will break in. It took A LOT of effort to get them zipped up around the calf. Also, the boots are very stiff. There isn't much give for a comfortable movement when walking.

I'm a solid 5, and these only came in 5.5 .....Figured socks would help, maybe they ran small like usual on Amazon shoes...BOY WAS I WRONG! I had at least 1" - 1.25" extra inches in the toe bed!! How does that happen? Now what???? Do I stuff them with Silly Putty and hope they last me the winter??? (I always wear thick socks, but that helps more with width --not an issue with these boots-- than length.) Buyer beware....not only true to size, they run VERY generously, leaving us petite footed girls in the dust, YET AGAIN..... I dont think i'll ever be able to find a pair of boots, short of going to a Chanel boutique and spending my life savings. :( So sad. Just wanted a simple classy quilted boot. Now i'll be tripping up the stairs or over my own feet because I swear they sent me a 6.5, but it says 5.5......not satisfied.
