Uba Portion Control Plate (PORCELAIN) for Adults for Healthy Diet (White, 1)

** UPDATE- below original review was in 2023, it’s now 2026 and still 100% obsessed with these plates. They are “girl dinner” perfection! Hands down our family’s favorite plates— and honestly never thought we’d have a “favorite” plate, but here we are!** I’ve been debating on getting these plates for awhile now, but just could never get over the price point. Got some Amazon money for my 39th birthday and took the plunge and purchased a 4 set for my family of three. I’ve got goals I want to accomplish before turning 40 next year, and eating will play a major role in reaching those goals. So I see these plates as a tool and investment towards bettering myself. I LOVE the deep portion dividers… nothing gets mixed together no matter how saucy or juicy a food item may be. I was worried the plate would be too small, but it’s “Goldilocks” size **JUST RIGHT** and each part holds the perfect amount for myself & husband, and my 8 year old loves them too. I’m not following the guidelines for each section (making it my own) but I love fitting my whole meal together—from hot foods, to wet foods, to frozen fruit all on the same plate! The plates are extremely sturdy and well made and have already washed in the dishwasher like a champ! Feeling grown and never thought I’d be this excited over plates. They’ve made me excited for meal time again, and have assisted in making healthier choices. I know what my own personal guidelines are for filling each section, and it helps when meal planning to make sure I have an item ready and each spot gets filled with a “good for me” option. =) Wish I would have purchased them sooner, better late than never!

These plates are very well made porcelain! They are nice and heavy not thin. I love the compartment to be able to portion out the food. Just the right sizes for all three. The top two, one of which is just slightly smaller for the protein portion. They have pretty deep wells too. So no sauces will run and no food touches other food for those that have that aversion :) - If you are looking for help with portion control, these are a must have!! I like that they come in a two pack.

This Portion Control plate was just what I was looking for as a Diabetic. The sections are deep enough to hold salads, vegetables etc. it is a heavy plate that can be washed in the dishwasher and looks elegant as well. Well worth the cost.

I thought I wanted a ceramic portion-control plate so that I could use it in the microwave. However, with all those dividers, being ceramic, and a good size, it's pretty heavy for older folks with arthritic hands. I returned it to get a plastic portion-control plate instead. Otherwise, it was sturdy and very nice.

Ok... This item was a little expensive. It only came with one plate, but I really like this plate. The plate was durable and blended with the rest of my white dish set. "Okay, so this item was a bit costly. It only included one plate, but I really appreciate the quality of this plate. It is durable and blends perfectly with the rest of my white dish set. I suggest purchasing one item and testing it out for yourself. I sometimes forget to use it, but I have noticed that it has made me more mindful of portion control when using other plates.

These plates look good on my table. We use them every day. The section designated for protein is too small for a standard sized pork chop, steak or fish fillet, so they should improve the portion size - otherwise you have to use the section designated for vegetables. Although the porcelain plates feel heavy, they are not unbreakable so try not to drop or place under anything heavier. At $31.00 each (including tax), they are expensive, so maybe they're not the best choice for a child.

The ceramic portion plate, although made in China is rather nice. It keeps portions separated and has no markings on it so if your using it with company over it may not invite a large portion of questions and jokes about using it. It really helps seeing what amount you SHOULD eat as opposed to what you WANT to eat. Use it and lose it. It’s easy to clean and can be used in the microwave. I also bought the bowl with it. The bowl has lines at 1/4 cup intervals. The plate and bowl is sturdy and solid as well as easy to use.

I use this product to help myself exercise control at meal times. Also helpful for an autistic family member who won't eat food that touches other foods. Love the quality.

Love this plate, exactly the portion control plate I want . Beautiful and elegant, size also fit the microwave. it does the work. The only bad thing is too pricy , a plate cost around $30. But if u love it and use it everyday, then worth the price.
