Works great

What's not to like. The bases fit the receiver well and do their job. I can't see a need to use anything else.

Machined to do exactly the job - attach the telescopic sight to a .22 rifle, in our case a Winchester of unknown age. I hope the company (Cheap Humidors) will change the advert image soon, as they say they are going to do: currently it shows 2 mounts, which in fact are not the item described. Screws are included with the mount. CH are selling the mounts singly not as a pair. CH appear to be the only company willing to mail these outside the North American continent and while their item prices are low their freight charge must be standardised because it was very high - $38.52 to us in England, when the actual shipping cost was $1.44. However, when the first parcel arrived with only one mount in it, we contacted CH and they immediately posted us another, with no argument, at no extra charge and no P&P charge.

This is a Weaver base mount for rifles that are drilled and tapped for such a base mount, such as the Ruger American Rimfire rifle, for example. It attaches to the rifle and in turn allows the attachment of a Weaver style scope ring. I used one of these to attach a red dot sight to my Ruger American Rimfire .22WMR rifle.The picture on the Amazon product page is confusing. In fact, you only get one of these, so if you are attaching a conventional scope that requires two rings you will need to order two of these. My CompC3 Aimpoint sight mounts with a single ring, so I only needed (and only got) one base mount when I ordered from Amazon.The construction, fit, and finish of this product is excellent. Attach it with a bit of blue Threadlocker and you will be good to go. It looks like an OEM part of the rifle. RJB.

I bought 2 of these and I could only use one for the front. The rear prevents the bolt from opening all the way. This is for a Savage Rascal 22lr. I still gave it 5 stars because they are well made and I was able to use one for the front.

Just got them and already love them! You need a tapped barrel in order to use them, but make sure that you buy 2. I have them mounted on a Marlin XTR22R. Main reason that I got them is that my wife would rather shoot open sights for varmint. I have a BSA 22 Sweet that I like to be able to take to the range for some more long-range target shooting. Pic shows you open, scoped and line of sight with the open sights. Easy to install, quick on and off with my mounting rings: UTG Max Strength LE Grade Quick Detach Picatinny Scope Rings (2 Piece, 1-Inch Diam, 4-Screw Med Profile) - also from Amazon; can't wait to get dialed in with the new set-up. In the meantime, critters beware.

Fit on my Marlin XT-22, had to order 2 as the Simmons rimfire scope has two rings. Not as confusing a concept as other reviewers have noted.Screws look deceptively large, they definitely fit the screw holes pre-drilled into the Marlin XT-22. Overall, one of the more worthwhile purchases I've made through Amazon.

Was sceptical at first when i removed the screws in the marlin as screws that came with the mount looked bigger! But turned out to be an exact fit for Marlin XT22R 22Lr ! Dont forget to use bore cleaner for both new screws and top screw hole as they are oily... Also drop red lock tight.

Bought for my ruger American standard in .22,fitted grand,and mounted my shield reflex,it arrived to the Scottish island I live on quicker than most the mainland sites can deliver,also the postage was nothing more that anywhere else would charge
