Not wool
The color is exactly what I was hoping and although the rug is large it is extremely light due its thinness. Pro for maneuverability and likely a con for durability. The product description reads as 100% wool, but I believe it is cotton. It neither looks, feels or smells like wool.

Just received this rug advertised as 100% WOOL. It is not wool, my guess it is most synthetic fiber
