The rod holder works well to get fishing rods up off the floor and out of the way. It is sturdy and easily holds a dozen rods with reels. I usually prefer to install such holders into ceiling studs instead of just using drywall screws. But at 27" across, the device holes won't match up to typical 16" studs. The manufacturer could easily remedy this by including a couple of very small "U" brackets and two more additional screws. One could then install the rod holder easily on 16" studs running across the studs.

This very simple yet well made heavy duty rod holder will easily hold 12 large and long surf rods. Mount each side opposite holder size of other side so that the butt section on one rod is parallel to the rod tip section of the next rod.

Works good. Have some of the rods doubled up, but still is very secure. Installation is easy except trying to figure out how far apart to set them up and to get them square with each other.

Good product. Easily stored rods from surf poles to fresh water light rods. Easy to install.

I cannot stress to you how happy I was with this product. I have a very tightly packed garage with tons of outdoor gear and space is at a minimum. My poles were normally all piled up in the corner and after my son broke yet another tip off a rod because he tries to yank them out when they are tangled....well I figured it was time to hang them up. I mounted these to the ceiling joist in my workshop and it is perfect!!!! It takes up very little space and I was able to get the whole thing full without it being a fight to remove and replace rods into the hanger.I know some have complained about the hangers being too small, and that might possibly be true for very large offshore rigs. I have in the racks a little more than half the capacity 2500-4000 series sized spinning reels on average length 6ft poles. The remainder are push button freshwater rigs for the kids. I have the rack filled to capacity and have no issues whatsoever. Some handles might touch another rig at times, but everything still hangs neatly, up high out the way, and in a very small space. I liked it so much, bought another set for some other poles I want to get out the corners as well.The staggered design allows you to hang every 2nd rod in the opposite direction so that they fit in a limited space. I have no complaints and it really is a well thought out design. Like I said I am hanging inshore saltwater equipment of the aforementioned size and it works just fine for me. I also have one 5000 series ambassador saltwater bait caster and it fits fine in there as well.

The fishing rod holder worked as described. I would add a picture of my setup; however, my setup looks just like the one pictured by the manufacturer on Amazon's website. The fishing rods fit snuggly but are still easy to remove.

Nice rod holder I like the large ends and small ends alternate so all your reals are not smacking against each other.Also it was nice to this holder came with everything you needed to install it screws washers wall anchors.Also there is a rubber like coating to prevent rust and protect your rods.
