Link anything that is measurement based, repeat-abililty is key. Do yourself a favor and just do a few tests when you get it to make sure your device is accurate. Read the bad reviews, see what problems people have had, mitigate the problems ahead of time. I have bought the disposable one before, Because I found this one is more expensive, durable and accurate. In calculation, it's much cheaper than the disposable one.

Think twice before you choose this unit. Read the reviews. Some report high success, but others are a firm thumbs down, reporting either impossible results or results so mixed over short time spans that they could not possibly have come from anything human. That was my experience. Over a series of ten "blows" separated by 15 minutes each, I got a 1.4, then two 0.0's, a single 0.2 followed by two 0.0's, followed by a 1.3 followed by three more 0.0's. I have seen many similar results in the thumbs down reviews, but I see quite a few positive reviews as well. As per the title above, it looks like the quality control on this product "blows!" Pun intended. If that happened to you, don't waste time. Return the one you got and get your money back, or I suppose you could roll those same dice and spend you refund on another one. Three to one and pick 'em?

This ketone meter is very easy to use and convenient. I have had inaccurate test results a few times so I usually test twice to make sure it's accurate. I've had 0.0 results twice and know there's no way I was totally out of ketosis. I've found drinking some water before testing gives a more accurate result. I have tested using the meter and the sticks around the same time to make sure of accuracy. I would recommend this product.

Bought the Ketone breath analyzer 3 weeks ago as it was at the top of the list in a top 10 rating, the one thing I have tried to overcome in my life is the crazy purchase cycle that my father bestowed on to me. I must have been in an unconscious state or sleep walking when I purchased this unit. Cannot fathom spending $40 on a ketone meter and think it was going to be the right choice. It was difficult to use (air pressure must be just right) the nozzle cracked after the first day, but they give you ten replaceable nozzles (no wonder). Just like that it stopped working, changed batteries, nozzles switched up exhaling speeds and nada. Yes I was in Ketosis, my blood meter has never failed me yet, was just trying to find a more convenient way to check without the needle...JB

Very good. Come again next time.I cannot imagine anybody being unhappy with this ketone testing system. There is also immediate customer service chat help available on both their website and Facebook and they were great, too. Directions are enclosed but the videos affirmed that I had the correct method for setting and checking my new meter.The price for the products was competitive. I give it a 5 star rating.

So far only have been using for a few days but it seems too work well. Once in awhile reading is not accurate. Seems good quality ans very wasy to read and operate. I am thinking I made a good decision. Im using mostly too confirm tht nothing I am eating is kicking me out of ketosis...

I dont feel it catches what it is supposed to. I have been doing keto and purvit drinks and it rarely finds me in ketosis.

This is an update to my original review of this product. It works as described for the most part. I would recommend this product for anyone who does not want to have to use a blood meter every time to check if you are in ketosis or not.
