These Definitely work better than Depends. I use them for my 97 yr old mother and they keep her outerwear dry for much longer.

This is the widest backed disposable pull on diaper/underwear for women for the butt area. Most others are too narrow. The price is higher than I think it should be; but overall, it is a good underwear choice.

Fantastic absorbency and very comfortable. It has a tendency to split along the sides if you do a lot of bending/squatting. In my case I ordered the XL and that is great.
