Premium Mono

Purchased this to use as backing for my Tatula SV TW 100XH, and it worked flawlessly. I started it on the reel with a simple uni knot, gave the line a solid pull to test its strength, and honestly, it's impressively strong for monofilament. I wasn’t worried about it snapping since I was just getting started, but I’m glad it held firm. After spooling about a quarter of the mono, I connected it to my Spiderwire Stealth Smooth x8 braid with an Albright knot and finished filling the reel. No issues at all—smooth setup, smooth casting, and zero surprises. I’ll be respooling all my baitcasters soon, and this is absolutely going to be my go‑to backing line. I also plan to run it as the main line on my spinning reels, but that’s a test for another day. I’ll update this review once I’ve had time to put it through its paces there.

I purchased this monofilament line so that my wife could hang a wind chime from a tree in the back yard. The line was perfect for this application. I only needed 3 feet so I will have monofilament line for many years to come. The 60 lb line wasn't too thick or stiff while at the same time is very strong for the application of hanging a wind chime from a tree. I believe I received good value for the money spent and recommend the line for use in hanging.

Solid performance at a reasonable price. More or less the idea for all the KastKing products. Is this the best mono I've ever used? Probably not (bring back Cabelas mono!), but it does the job well. Stretch is good, but not out of this world. Abrasion, well, don't expect miracles, but it's also reasonable. Easy to make knots and they hold well. Again, just a solid line. I'll no doubt buy more. Casts well from spinning reels and the diameter is pretty good.

been using this now for a few months. its strong and does not hold much memory. after not fishing for about 2 months, it was rather loopy when i got back out there fishing, but after a few casts it goes right back to normal. i have tried a lot of different lines over the years. This is probably my 2nd favorite so far

Smooth casting right color easy to tie great value

I order a 10 pound line and gotta say it perform great, pull a 4-5 catfish and the line hold on BUT I got the red line and in an hour the color started to lose its color. That’s the only problem I had with it

Didn’t get to try the line, was sent a roll that looked like it was used and returned before. This should have been noticed before being sent out.

Nice line not sure about the longevity, but worth the money.
