Yes works great! Very loud!

This is a great little alarm! Easy to install easy to usw, and having the remote is a big plus! Although I live in a secure building, you can never be too careful! I felt like I needed something on my apartment door for added security, and this alarm does the trick!

Like some other reviewers, we have a child (6yo daughter) that likes to sneak out of her room. Well she used to, she doesn't anymore. This four settings:1. A simple door chime that only "ding-dongs" once when the door is open.2. A "beep beep beep" with about a two second delay and another "beep beep beep". This will shut off once the door is closed again. But the delay in between beeps is long enough that a child could quickly get out and shut the door before another beep.3. A high pitched, very loud, non-stop siren sound. It will wake up the house if it sounds for just a fraction of a second. But if the door is closed it will stop.4. Last but not least, this is the same sound as #3. However the alarm will not stop if the door is closed and will continue to stay on until shut off with the remote.

I purchased this door alarm to help prevent our 16 year old from sneaking out. It has worked perfectly and he's unable to turn it off. So it works to keep those you wish out, out and those you wish to stay in, in. I find it great for dual purpose and the remote has a really long range. I'd recommend this product

Didn’t like it to much, returned it cuz it was to loud for me

So far so good, just got it today. Installed in less than two minutes. I bought this because it had the highest Db out of the ones I was looking at. Great for autistic kiddo and security alike. Super loud if thats not what you're looking for than donnt buy this.

Really good compact product very easy to install was impressed with the tolerance on the distance between sensor and the unit itself as not all doors and frames are flush the remotes have a very good range doesn’t need line of sight again another fantastic feature and it comes with two remotes….! If I was to be not picky my only gripe would be the instructions for the functions (quiet on recontact or continuous and ding dong vs loud alarm ) were very small and took a few reads to fully grasp which is a shame as I imagine a lot of people would not use these extra features but again very good product loud easy to use and will be definitely buying more
