Very satisfied, a bargain. Size up, runs small.
I was looking for a soft shell jacket with hood and purchased this one because of the under $20 price point. I did not have much hope I would like it but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I held it under the sink and the water rolled right off. It is wind proof. I have owned very light weight and heavy weight soft shells and this falls in the middle. The inside is brushed almost fleece like. It feels good but if you are wearing long sleeves it grabs a bit, not too bad. I found the sleeves to be long and I am going to hem them. I have long arms but these were too long for me. There is just elastic at the sleeve, no adjustment/velcro. I also thought the chest was small in comparison to the rest of the jacket. I think it could use another inch or two to improve the fit ratio. Other reviewers said it ran small and suggested sizing up, which I did. I purchased an XL in navy (normally I would buy an L). The zippers are sturdy. The design for the hood and the pull string are a bit unique (see the picture) but it seems to fit well. The navy jacket has a teal pull string for the hood, I like the contrast. IF you zip it all the way up your neck is protected and there is fabric covering the zipper so it will not touch your skin. The inside pocket it huge, very deep. I think if I dropped my phone in there retrieving it would be a bit of a hassle. The side pockets are zippered and big. They are lined in a almost net like fabric. I did notice that they were not very warm as air blows right through but this is not going to be a good coat if it is super cold. I am not sure how well the pockets will hold up if you use them for heavy or pointy (keys) objects. It has a bit of stretch as softshells do. It is not too noisy/crunchy. i washed it and noticed no change to the jacket. It is stiffer than my lightweight softshell (which wears almost like a sweater) but not as stiff as my heavy one.I purchased this as a fall jacket and if I have have any problems in the near future I will update this post.

Excellent quality and value
Bought this for a trip to Tokyo in February. Wanted a warm coat I could roll up in my carry on ready for when I arrived. This fit the bill perfectly and looks sharp.Very warm, incredibly light weight and really does fold into a small pouch.

Order a size up.
I am a medium but had to exchange for a large. The large runs like a medium. I love this jacket. It's warm, sleek and does a great job resisting water when caught in a downpour. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Lovely
Love this coat. I am 5’2” and 132 pounds and it’s a tad big on me, but I like it that way. I can easily wear a sweater under it. It’s comfortable to drive in too.

What to know
The jacket is nice, and the sizing chart is pretty spot on. However the design makes the jacket baggy in some spots and snug in others which I dont like. Also it soaks in water alot. Which really sucks because I work outside In all weather conditions. However it is a nice quality jacket.
