'Great CD By Singer/Songwriter Carole King!'
'Jazzman' is a good song with nice jazzy beats and nice vocals by Carole King and her background singers; 'So Far Away' is a nice song with a nice melody and nice vocals; 'Sweet Seasons' is another nice song with nice beats and nice vocals; 'Brother, Brother' is a good song with good beats and good vocals; 'Only Love Is Real; is a nice song with nice beats and nice vocals; 'I Feel The Earth Move' is a good song with good beats and great vocals by Carole and her background singers; 'It's Too Late' is a nice but sad song about breaking up; the song has a nice melody as well as nice vocals by Carole and her background singers (the song reminds me of a very painful breakup I had with my late ex-boyfriend and I can definitely relate to the lyrics in the song); 'Nightingale' is a nice song with nice beats and nice vocals; 'Been To Canaan' is another nice song with a nice melody and nice vocals; 'Smackwater Jack' is a good song with good beats and good vocals (the song sounds like a Blues song); 'Corazon' is a good song with good beats and good vocals; 'Believe In Humanity' is another good song with good beats and good vocals; 'Eventually' (Live) is a very nice song with a nice melody and nice vocals; ('You Make Me Feel Like') 'A Natural Woman' (Live) is a nice song with a nice melody and nice vocals by Carole and her background singers.

Carole King's Hits: As Billed
For once the title gets it absolutely right. Carole King: Her Greatest Hits (Songs of Long Ago) delivers. We're talking performance hits here, not her Goffin-King Brill Building smashes as a songwriter. The '70s Laurel Canyon vibe is alive & well throughout this 14-track compilation, and the remastering job is phenomenal. Tracks one through twelve perfectly make the case; the hits and nothing but the hits, though, sadly, not in chronological order. These include I Feel The Earth Move, It's Too Late, Jazzman, So Far Away, Smackwater Jack, etc. The two bonus tracks (13 and 14) are fine live-in-concert versions of Eventually and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman. They all hold up incredibly well. Highly recommended.

Very neat cover on this cd. It has pictures throughout her career.
Carol King was always such a modest singer and awesome artist when it comes to writing music. She could sing with anybody because she is truly a professional and it hasn't changed her or gone to her head. Look at how many years she's been around. The artists now will never last this long.
