This was the first year we didn't have problems with deer eating the garden. The garden is about 1/4 acre so there is a lot of tempting food.On the other hand; We bought a 8 pack, one was DOA, others lasted most of the summer but by winter only two were still working.I could try a different brand next year, but after reading reviews this seems to be par for the course.I rated them 4 stars because they did do the job for a year.

With there being no reviews of this product before I bought it - I was reasonably Leary.. I read other reviews of similar products and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did! We have had a growing problem with Coyotes over the past month or so - to the point where I was having trouble telling the difference between the dog poo, and coyote..... there was THAT much, and they were getting bolder and bolder. Every night I've gone out after dark and have done my best to scare them away - only to be woken up in the middle of the night with their howling. Not last night tho! I received the package late in the day, and decided to try 3 lights in the location they were coming from most. Result? Nothing.... Nothing meaning - there weren't any Coyotes at all last night! With only a few hours solar charge on the units -they kept those critters at bay, and we had a peaceful nights sleep - the first in a long time. I just placed the other 5 in various locations around the property (5 acres) and am counting on continued success. I check reviews before I buy - and if you're like me I stay away when someone has a bad review. If we were friends, I tell you to buy this - it's well worth it.

2 of them dont work

The media could not be loaded.  I had Coyotes really bad here. One night they started their howling right by my bedroom window. I fell out of bed it was so bad, my heart beating out of my chest. I had to go outside to yell and make noise to get them to leave. The very next day they showed up during the day in my backyard. I ordered these Coyote deterant lights and how can I say it. I AM JUMPING FOR JOY !! I have not had any problems since I put these scattered out in my backyard. I heard them off at a distance last night but nothing close by. I am so grateful for these lights. I can't stress it enough. Now if someone can invent something for during the day to scare them off. I bought wove urine they say scares them away but have not needed to use it since I got these lights. Thank you to whoever made these THEY WORK !!!

Worked for a few days. Then they both broke. Cheap crap

Have had them up about a year and they still work great. Deer have gotten somewhat accustomed to them, but they are part of a good combination defense.

These work great as long as they are placed at the proper height for the critter you’re keeping away. I had a raccoon that I would see almost every night. I put one these up on each corner of my chicken coop at about 10”-12” off the ground. I have not seen the raccoon since or any other critters since.
