Does it come assembled? Is it difficult to set up/put together after shipped to your home?

The grill requires assembly. It weighs about 170 pounds so a second person is recommended for picking it up after you put the legs on. I was able to put it together with my 9 year old daughter. Traeger recommends a six pack and a radio as additional tools.

how hot does this get

That’s awful hot for a pellet grille smoker for that long of time. Get some sear grates if your cooking at high temps. At 450 degrees you can cook a 1” thick steak in medium rare in about 12 mins. I can’t imagine what your cooking at 450 degrees for 2 hrs!

How long is the power cord?

8’ it’s not very long and plugs into the back side of the assembled grill. If you are looking the grill, the plug comes out the back on the right hand side.

Does it come with the cover?

No there is no cover included but it is recommended if the grill will be stored outside when not in use.
