CB1166 Snow Blanket for Christmas Decoration, 45 by 99-Inch, White

This is really light and fluffy, sort of like batting in some pillows and quilts. It is really huge! It is pretty thin when all unfolded and that single layer can be scrunched up to resemble snow drifts. You can also fold it into as many layers as needed for a thicker cover of snow. It can easily be cut for use with any size display. I am using it for a Santa's North Pole display. I used my scroll saw to cut a sleigh, reindeer, Santa's house and elf workshop out of wood. It all looks great with the faux snow. Of course this blanket can be rolled up and saved for the next season when you are finished with it. It's a great addition to your holiday décor no matter how you use it.

I bought four of these during the last year for a larger holiday setup.Two were very white with a soft cotton feel. They hid what was beneath them well. These two were excellent as s snow blanket.The other two were off-white and more transparent with no cotton feel. A different, less desirable material. They also had dirty ends that required cutting the fabric off. These two were only fair as a snow blanket. Unfortunately, the two sets do not match in our setup with their color and texture differences. I have to scrap them after this season and go with another brand.

I was hoping for the fluffy kind, but this will work for another of my projects. If you want fluffy, go with the regular snow from Buffalo instead of the snow blanket. The snow still unrolls, but does stretch thin. This blanket is tougher, so if that is what you are looking for, get this.

I bought this batting to use with our large Christmas village. It's better than some of the snow blankets available that are very thin, but not quite as nice as a large piece of batting I already had. I would probably compare it to quilt batting. I'm pleased with it. Nice size.

We bought this to use with our Snow Village next Christmas, to replace a snow blanket that was worn out. Look forward to using it!

There was dirt on the edges of some of the snow blankets and one of the packages was opened and folded differently as if it was previously opened. The 3 star rating was given with consideration to promptness of package arrival.

Great for a real snow look on any Christmas or other display that needs that winter effect. This is the first year I've used the Buffalo Batt snow blanket and was surprised how reai it looks after getting my holiday table displays set up. No real mess using it like angel hair can be and it's a lot safer to handle.

Dept 56 village owner-- works for me! If this were fluffier, my figurines would topple. I can easily poke holes for light cords and all that. Looks enough like snow for my purposes, and I put it directly on top of my wood baseboard.
