People,..... be warned that what you see on OG's web site and the 4th picture down on Amazons site DO NOT represent how this watch will look when you receive it. The watch on the male models wrists, have the look of rich "Dark" exotic wood, contrasting with the silver, making for a beautiful watch. This is the watch that I thought I was receiving. OH No, The first two pictures don't look like the 4th. What you do receive, resembles the first two. I assumed the first two were just bad lighting stock photos. I was hoping that the photo of a real person, real flesh colored wrist would be authentic. The watch bezel looks like Orange imitation plastic and I'm really not sure if the watch face is real wood veneer. Mechanically, I'm sure this watch would hold up and keep good time for this price point.My reason for this negative review, is the deceptive advertising photos that were probably Photo-shopped. I own 39 watches and wanted to Really like this new brand and model.....Ryan and Andrew Beltran, I don't know what to say to you, but I'm disappointed. You have a great product and a nice collection, But Please, stop trying to sell your product with Glitzy edited photos.

Got this watch 1 year and two weeks ago. The watch is beautiful and feels solid on my arm. About a month ago I started noticing that it was loosing a few minutes a day. I was diasappointed that its battery was going so quickly but figured that's life. In the last couple of weeks it has started loosing more time to the point that it isn't any good for keeping time. That is when I looked up how to replace the battery and found there is no battery to replace. Turns out my watch has to be sent back for repair. Of course the warranty just expired. I really like the watch, but am feeling kind of negative about the purchase now. My previous Timex and Casio watches lasted about three times as long and only cost 1/5 the cost. Lesson: if you notice the watch isn't working right at 50 weeks, send it back quick before warranty expires.

beautiful watch love the look but the quality of the watch is very poor I received the watch the latch that secures the watch continuously opens with out warning so if not paying attention you will loose the watch. Sense I purchased the watch from amazon the company has no record of me buying the watch so getting it repaired or replaced is next to impossible. It did say on the paperwork that comes with the watch there is a factory warranty but I feel like its a lost cause

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. It has a very roomy band - he's 6'1" with a larger frame and has to get a link or two taken out - and the wood is gorgeous. He's already wearing it at work (before getting it sized) because he likes it so much and the compliments are pouring in. The packaging was really nice as well. I recommend both the company and the watch and wouldn't be surprised if I find myself back for another purchase.BTW - the amazon pricing was better than the company's own pricing thanks to a coupon. Doubt it's always like that but just an FYI :) The company does run FB promotions from time to time too that can save you something like 10-15%.

I bought the watch in Dec. 2018 for a Christmas gift for my husband. Due to a variety of circumstances...he did not start wearing the watch until September 2019--it stayed in the box (untouched) until that time...He has worn the watch a maximum of 10 times and when he put it on this morning, the second hand had fallen off and was floating in the face of the watch. He loves the watch but now is uncertain as to what our next step is. Jewelers are hesitant to even work on these watches..We had a link put in the strap and the jeweler was uncomfortable doing that.

Wonderful watch, as other reviewers have mentioned the wood is a slightly lighter color in person than in the pictures, but it still looks great. It's very solid and quite heavy, even compared to my other stainless steel watches, but I'm very happy with my purchase so far.UPDATE: After four or five months, I somehow managed to break the wood bezel on the watch. Just looked down one evening and half of it was gone. I contacted Original Grain, asking if they could repair it or send me a replacement bezel, and they told me to just return the watch and they'd replace it. I was worried that that sort of damage might be called "normal wear and tear" or something, but I had absolutely no hassles or problems, just a brand-new watch shipped out promptly, and Nelson, their customer service rep, sent followup emails to make sure everything had been taken care of to my satisfaction. I wish it hadn't broken, but I'm very satisfied with my experience, and will be doing business with this company again.

I guess for this amount of money, I was hoping for a more refined wood look. Instead, it reminds me of a laminated school table finish (we all remember those). It does have nice weight and feels good on the wrist. Keeps good time (not that a watch is for that anyways) and does attract compliments. I like it, don't love it. I'll keep it, but won't order another....

Truly beautiful and unique! I probably own 15 watches and keep them for various occasions. This one is special; totally different look and great presentation box with solid packaging. Bought 5 of them for my wedding party as Groomsmen Gifts. I'll be proud to hand them out to my best friends, knowing they will all like receiving such a nice-looking timepiece.
