Headlamp of All Headlamps - Perfect LED Headlamp for Running, Biking, Climbing, Hiking, or Reading - Tough, Water-Resistant, and Super Bright LED Headlamp Flashlight - The Reivalo Explorer

I row in the early mornings year round, and have burned out two sub par (but not inexpensive) headlamps in the past six months that I bought at the local sporting goods store. Decided to try this one after reading the reviews, and it did not disappoint! We are often rowing in pitch black, and/or fog, and/or rain, and this thing shines right through all of the Pacific Northwest weather we've had so far. The only tiny critique I have is that the band is a little loose on my head, even cinched up to the tightest setting. It's not normally a big deal, since I'm usually wearing a hat of some kind, but I have never considered myself having an unusually small lady head, so it was surprising.All in all, a great value for a powerful light. A few bucks less than the one (Coleman brand) I had for about two months before it crapped out on me.

This headlamp was supposed to be waterproof. It is not. It failed after minor water exposure and minimal usage.

At first it was very bright, then the light seemed to dull after 6 months. Even with brand new batteries.

So close to a 5 star review here, but overall, a great product at a great price. The only thing they need to work on is their beam pattern. For my liking it was a bit too spotlight for my needs. weather sealing is robust and should do the job. The only thing Petzl and Black Diamond of these guys is the flexibility of their lighting patterns (small flood side lights, dimable flood/spot).

Received this item in July. Initially was pleased with the headlamp. However, a couple of weeks ago, as I was trying to change the batteries, one of the hinges snapped off. I have not been rough with this unit. So now I am unable to use the headlamp.. Please be very careful when attempting to change batteries.

I'm newly retired and enjoying the life of a night owl! Stay up all night going online or reading. That's when I noticed that my ceiling fan light isn't good for reading or doing things close up as the light wasn't strong enough or my shadow would make it hard to see what I was reading. Saw this headlamp online several times while browsing and thought this item would work for me! When I received It, I was a little concerned how small this was. I wasn't expecting a huge headlight, kinda sorta was. Quickly realized that this looked very well made, the quality was obvious. Made sure not to look into the lamp as was warned by the reviews that if you did, all you would see is a big white for hours everywhere you looked...Mahalo and Thanks for the warning! Anyways, I was amazed how cool this was! Like a kid with a new toy, I checked out all the features - yes, you can use the red lite and not disturb the other campers... I can walk out to our dumpster at nite with bags of rubbish and see where I'm going and drivers can see me as well. Found a screw that I had lost in the shadows by my bed months before...I don't have to turn on the hallway lite when I go to the bathroom. Oh yeah, I can now read a book in bed! Don't need to buy a headboard & a lamp anymore!

This is a great headlamp. It's light, comfortable and super bright. It has multiple brightness settings so you can easily control both how much light you use and your battery usage. I use this for running. It doesn't slip or bounce. The head adjusts so that you can direct the light to where you need it to be. I highly recommend this product.

Received it earlier in the week and have only had a chance to use it a few times, but I'm really impressed so far. We hike and walk daily, so as fall and winter approach, our walk times take us into the early evening were safety is our main concern. Have had several other headlamps, but nothing even comes close to the Reivalo headlamp. Simple to operate, lightweight, and light delivers very impressive results. On the high setting, it's more powerful that any flashlight I own.
