Straight up JUNK!, The first 6 snaps I set disfigured even with gentle taps, the posts were so flimsy they bent over making the snap useless, they're made of tin so too soft for snaps.. Out of ten I got one to hold but just barley and even it eventually came apart. Do your self a favor like I did, buy snaps from Weaver Leather. The snaps from Weaver Leather are a dream, they worked perfectly and set very nice as the hardware is Stainless Steel and set the first time.

I needed a snap to secure my chore knife in its holster for daily use on the ranch. It’s very hard to find the perfect size fixed blade chore knife for everyday carry on the ranch. When I finally do find one, the sheath is always cheap and falls apart within a day to a week. I decided to just learn how to make them myself and did a lot of research in the evenings to prepare myself. As it turns out, it really ain’t that hard to make them and make them right! Anyway, I needed a snap to keep my chore knife secure while gettin in and out of trucks, tractors and UTVs, and also gettin on and of horseback. I ordered these and used em on my latest knife sheath. I had to trim up the leather a little to get a good secure fit, but these work pretty darn well.

They are a snap, but they just don't have a heavy duty feel to them. They even put, "ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE MANUFACTURERS NAME STAMPED INSIDE THE SOCKET - This Will Help Ensure You Are Buying a Quality Product ," but there is no name on their button. They just don't have any heft to them like a quality snap usually does. It is a snap; time will tell how long they last.

The wording for this product should read "25 sets" and not 100 pieces. Obviously you need 4-pieces to make one snap. For a few dollars more you can get 70 sets. Keep looking.

Flimsiest of post on these snaps. When to try to set them they just break or bend over. They head misshapes as well in the setter anvil. Just junk. Dont waste your money. Also they claim 100 snaps. Its 100 pieces so 25 snaps total. So go to Tandys or Weavers and pay a little more. Less headaches. One of those things you get what you pay for!

These snaps are too flimsy for what I need them for. I can only use them on thinner leather as the don't hold well and the shank isn't long enough to attach to thicker leather.

Great snaps and easily installed if you're familiar with attaching these kind of snaps. Would buy again

First you think you are getting 100 snaps, you are actually getting 25. Each snap has 4 pieces so they are counting each piece of a snap. Also the quality is very poor post split when set. I rarely give a review unless something is really bad. These were cheap junk
