I'll give this five stars.
I've got problems with my medication causing constipation. I'm hoping that the psyllium husks can help. This stuff is a good price for organic husks. It mixes well and I try and drink it quickly before it starts thickening. The warnings are there with drinking plenty water along with the husks. I use a pint with orange squash and water and add a spoonful of the husks. Here's hoping this can be a long term solution for me.UPDATEIt took about three days to work and it really did work. I've suffered from bad constipation for ages and was taking Senna but it was not effective. I got a powder from the clinic but that caused diarrhoea. Within three days, I had my first normal bowel motion. It was great. This is fibre, something we are always told to take more of. At the clinic today, I told them I was taking psyllium husk and had a normal bowel movement five days out of seven. This stuff really works. Be sure and keep the fluid levels up. I left psyllium husk in a glass for half an hour and it turned into a jelly like fluid. Still drinkable but also proof that you must increase your fluid intake too.

1st order ok, 2nd order totally different
I've been trying to find whole, pure white, psyllium husks after my initial brand became unavailable. I've tried a lot (and I mean a lot!) of different brands and you'd think they all came from the same factory in India as they all appear to be a more brown colour with gritty bits in them; they're also usually not 'whole' husks despite the description. The first pack of this I ordered actually was very close to what I was looking for. So I ordered a second pack but what came was totally different. The first pack came in a smallish resealable bag but the second order was in a bag twice the size (same weight inside though) and although the packaging design looked the same, things like the batch number were completely different. So, I wonder whether this brand actually uses a variety of 'suppliers' for their product? I have no idea but I do know that I ordered twice and got two completely different products. So, sadly, I'm off to order from yet another supplier in an attempt to find 100% pure, organic, white, whole, psyllium husks. If any manufacturer or supplier can provide this and have a description that actually matches their product, they'd absolutely corner the market and would stand out amongst all the others. How about it Stay Fresh Organics - up for the challenge?

Works for my dog
My dog suffers with anal gland issues so I add these to her breakfast, mixed in some warm water, on the days she is suffering. I know this is gross but it bulks things up and solves her problem within a day. I haven't tried it myself but should the need arise (not that I have anal glands of course) I will definitely give it a go

A great product for people with hemorrhoids
It is a very good product for people who suffer from piles and need to keep the stools soft, that is what Psyllium does, it is pleasant to take, just add to a glass of water, and take an hour before breakfast and main meal. No need for any thing else. Also drink plenty of water throughout the day. ( I was a practitioner in holistic treatments)

Incorrect Label
I bought this product as its label says WHOLE PSYLLIUM HUSKS. On opening the product it is powdered Psyllium husks which are readily available locally. Whole husks unlike powdered husks do not stick to the palate and are capable of absorbing more fluid and bulk forming .

Fine powder
This cannot be consumed by itself as the powder is too fine. As soon as you put in your mouth it gets stuck in to weird places around the mouth and takes forever to remove and it is really unconformable. This can only be used to sprinkle in food and not to be eating by itself.

Using for cat.
I am using this for my cat's long term diarrhoea problem on vet's advice, just a little sprinkled and stirred into his cat food with a little water, so far so good.

Easy to take.
Product arrived on time, well packaged though I would have liked dosage instructions on the packet. Too soon to tell if it’s going to work. Bought organic as thinking it’s a higher quality. A teaspoonful in half a glass of water doesn’t swell much but follow it with another glass of water as suggested elsewhere online.
