Emmentaler made easy to get.
This is a well known brand, but hard to find in stores like all true Emmentalers. Emmentalers are simply unmatched by domestic imitations. In the past year, however, the it’s availability has become become significantly reduced, so being able to get it online is the easiest and most reliable way to get it.

Hard to find elsewhere
Can usually get as much Gruyere as I want for my favorite fondue recipe, but Emmentaler, another essential ingredient, is much harder to find. Would probably use this only for fondue, however, buying the less-expensive "Swiss" cheese for sandwiches.

Delicious
I like to melt this kind of cheese onto toast. Makes a good light lunch or quick snack. A little bit pricey, but delicious.

Real Emmental
The name Emmental cheese unfortunately isn't protected, so there are Finnish, Norwegian, French, German and other Emmental cheeses. Some of them are OK, most of them are terrible. The original Emmental cheese from the Emmental in the canton of Berne in Switzerland is generally decent to good and occasionally very good. This particular batch is excellent.

Not the Best
It was okay after it melted in a dish and it tasted like Emmi, but the texture was like wax. Compared with cave aged Emmi it was just terrible. I really don't understand the rave reviews.
