Liber & Co. Simple Syrup, Classic Gum Syrup (9.5 oz) Made with Cane Sugar and Gum Arabic

Excellent simple syrup, elevates cocktails like daiquiris and French 75. A bit pricey but worth it if you take pride in quality home cocktails. Many people have told me the drinks I've mixed at home with Liber & co gum syrup, orgeat, grenadine etc are superior to bar/restaurant cocktails.

Makes your cocktails more luxurious. Gum Syrup, A.K.A. Gomme Syrup, you'll want this to take your cocktails to the next level. Adds a silky texture, nice luscious mouthfeel, in cocktails like the Sazerac, Old Fashioned, or Daiquiri. Quicker, and better, than muddling a sugar cube and also better than simple syrup. The small change in viscosity causes the spirits to coat and linger on your tongue a little longer affecting how you taste the drink, in my opinion in a positive way.In the classic cocktail book, "The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks" by David A. Embury, states "the drink will never be any better than the quality of the cheapest ingredient in it". At pennies per drink this is not a big investment to make to complement the quality spirits you're already investing in.My attempt to make my own Gomme Syrup produced undisolvable goop, so I'll leave production to the pros at Liber & Co. from now on. A fine product at a reasonable price.

While this is an expensive product, I think it is worth the cost. This syrup has an excellent ability to perfect alcoholic beverages, making them smooth and tastier. I'll continue to use Liber & Co classic gum syrup.

This is a good product. It is nice and sweet and has a very thick consistency. I did not notice any changes in the viscosity of the cocktail though.

This is GUM syrup. Huge upgrade to simple syrup in a cocktail. Expensive but SO worth it

I like the mouth feel when I use the Gum simple syrup 1:2 over the traditional 1:1 simple syrup in stiff adult drinks.

I make my own now

I just tried this syrup out, and made some nice whiskey sours. I suppose I'll have to compare it to regular simple syrup someday to know for sure, but right now i'm pretty convinced that this gum syrup is superior. Just using only a half ounce of this syrup made a noticeable impact on the dilution of the drink. I recommend you try it for yourself.
