This pickup has great tone versatility and is such an easy upgrade for a Strat.

I guess this is sort of the Middle Child of pickups. If I had to choose a single pickup for a guitar, it would not be the silver. But...I love it in the middle position of the Red/Silver/Blue setup. It has a nice tone by itself but the tones one can find in positions 2 and 4 are where I really think having a middle pickup that highlights the mids really makes a difference. It can go from rounding out clean acoustic like rhythm to super heavy really fuzzy distortion in position 4 and soulful baritone licks to banshee like screams in 2.I mean the silver is nice enough by itself but probably not the best at anything in particular. However it just gets along so well with both its sisters.Otherwise, zero issues with hum or noise or build quality.

Good solid pickup. I had to replace the stock middle pickup as I kept hitting the poles with the pick. I needed a smooth surface to pick over. To be honest - I didn't notice a huge sound difference. It certainly is much easier to play now because there are no poles sticking out. But sound wise it didn't really move me. I probably could have just put a new cover on my stock pickup.

The pickup has a lot of Hum , I have other Lace Sensors that don't have that Hum. Didn't convice me. I do not recommend it.
