My son loves all things mickey mouse and he loves his holidays even more!So I decided to order this particular flap book that not only helps in identifying different items but also counting and reading. There was no doubt this book with 100 "windows" to flip open for tiny fingers was not going to be a hit with my 2-1/2 year-old grandkid. I babysit quite a bit and so I'm careful to not bring too much stuff over that will drive The Mom (e.g., my daughter) crazy. This book kept my grandkid occupied for a good 30 minutes if not more -- I also incorporated narrating what was behind most of the cardboard windows that need opening. Some will show, for example, Mickey Mouse, standing next to his Halloween cauldron, then you flip open the window and he's stirring green goo. And on and on. There are 10 pages and 2-pgs make a different scene. So, when you need to distract the kiddos, these are great to have on hand. We try not to watch repetitive shows one after the other, too easy to watch the boob tube ya know.

We purchased this book to introduce Halloween to our 2 year old daughter. This will be the first year she goes trick or treating. This books storyline is not about trick or treating, which is fine, because it introduces costumes and dressing up for Halloween. Our daughter loves Mickey Mouse , so this book was a hit! All of these Disney books are awesome educational wise. We have them all and at 2 1/2 years old, our daughter knows all her colors, numbers 1 thru 10, and shapes, and I attribute much of her new found knowledge to reading these books over and over again to her, as they go over shapes, colors, and numbers in all of these Disney books. Our daughter especially loves the lift the flaps and look and find Disney books.

I gave this to my 3 year old grandson instead of candy and he loves the book. He loves anything Mickey Mouse and loves lifting the flaps to see what is underneath. We curl up together and "read" his book. So much better than candy. Great time to spend with grandma!

We love these flap books! They are perfect for little hands with slightly longer attention spans- we tried one when my son was younger and he had no interest. I like the variety in what you are looking for on the pages. My son did manage to rip a flap already, but we were able to tape it back up good as new, and he was playing very enthusiastically when it happened. I will definitely buy more Mickey flap books!

My 2 1/2-year-old granddaughter loves this book. The pull up tabs thrill her to no end.
