Coleman RoadTrip Cast Iron Griddle Accessory, 142 Square Inch Cooking Area, Fits Coleman RoadTrip Grills, Easy to Clean

This griddle was an awesome accessory to have on our camping trip and it made it just in time! It is extremely simple to use, just switch out the grill plate for the griddle plate. So far we have used it to cook on one weekend long camping trip. On this trip it was used for bacon, eggs (scrambled and over easy), grilled cheese, potatoes, and buttered toast! Also, clean up is simple and quick, because it has a non stick surface. It is truly WONDERFUL!!!! I highly recommend purchasing this to go with your road trip grill, because it really does make for an easier trip when you are able to cook normal foods on the go! *UPDATE- My husband swears by this thing, he has decided to get another for the other side and mostly use them. He has been cooking our steaks, burgers, hotdogs, salmon, and pancakes on them since camping. He said it cooks much more evenly than the grill and cleans up easier, too. After cooking with a lot of butter or grease he just pours water on the hot griddle and scrubs it with the grill brush and it is good as new! I would have preferred a cast iron only surface, but it is easier to clean off. Just got this tonight along with the 285 and yep... steak on the grills, and eggs and bacon on the griddles. I wish I had found this grill years ago... would have saved headaches through power outages on multiple occasions and these griddles plates work excellent!!! Highly recommend these griddles and the Coleman 285.

I really like the swap top griddle. I like to make gourmet burgers and I use it to cook mushrooms, jalapenos, and onions while I do the burgers on the grill side. I heat the burger buns on this as well. Its also great for making bacon and eggs in the morning. It is very sturdy and fits my Coleman Xcursion grill perfectly. When using it seems to distribute the heat evenly which helps make cooking a breeze. I may opt for the full griddle at a later time. I would highly recommend this product if your looking to expand your grilling capabilities.

We used to have a Coleman Roadmaster grill with a griddle and loved it - it got lost in a move. We were given a new one but it didn’t have the griddle so purchased this. We love it. Cast iron so it’s heavy, but sturdy. Cook on either side (smooth griddle on one side and raised lines on the other). Eggs and bac-y or burgers and chops.

It fits right on my Coleman Table Top 225 grill. It fits right up against the smaller grate, doesn’t slide around and I can shut the lid all the way. I used it to do salmon and it did great. I don’t know about the porcelain covered cast iron other than it was pretty easy to clean. I guess time will tell. My initial impressions are good though.

We almost exclusively use our roadtrip for camping. This is a great item to have for cooking breakfast. Nothing sticks to this and it cleans up easily.

I have used this attachment a lot. (Bacon, cheese steak, sausages peppers and onions. grilled veggies for k-bobs, pancakes, even eggs). I have not had any sticking issues with the griddle. It is cast iron and heats evenly, quickly, and it is easy to clean. Just lifts out and wash off and dry ready in less than 2 minutes to use again. I can put 8 Italian sausages with lots of peppers and onions on at a time and don't have to worry about stuff dropping though or flare ups. Holds more than 12 pieces of thick cut bacon at a time. So glad I got this attachment.

First of all the Coleman road trip bbq is the best bbq for camping ever! I bought this flat top because I already had one for one side of the bbq. Now I can make a much bigger breakfast having 2 sides. Having 2 separate sides is great in case you have vegetarians and meat eaters. It keeps all the food separated. I absolutely love it!

Really the bbq should have come with one of these from factory but it works great anyhow. Perfect for pancakes or eggs, heats up evenly and cooks everything well
