FIRST USE IMPRESSIONS - STONE EARTH PAN. MADE IN GERMANY
Well, I have yet to find a really durable non-stick pan, these pans all have sprayed on coatings and on every one ive ever seen the coating eventually fails - its just a question of when. The infomercials make wild claims that dont even match the pans own instructions of use, how they get away with this is baffling. They often iimpress at first use and get glowing reviews, then at some point its in the trash - to be fair this is often as much to do with improper use of metal utensils on a non stick surface as anything, but ive had pans I treated with kid gloves and still the coating failed. OK call me negative but its the truth 99.5% of the time and its something only time will tell. So, that aside I will say this pan makes a great first impression - the nice looking if not unusual coating and pan construction seem to indicate better than average quality and durability based on ther pans feel and weight as well as thickness. I especially like the very well made handle that will never burn me and looks very much like real wood but is really a man made high heat synthetic, and thats fine as long as it holds up, but the handle is one of the best ive seen far as comfort and safety go -- the down side is you can not put this pan in the oven with this type handle, and im not faulting the pan for this because the manufacturer tells you this in the instructions and I knew this going in so if you want such a pan buy one made to go in the oven. - Ive only used the pan three times so far and can not deny I am impressed, I lightly cleaned and wiped the pan dry, then fried eggs sunny side up and there was no sticking they slid out with almost no coaxing. Then with no cleaning I fried some breakfast sausage and the pan proved easy to work with and cooked the sausage nice and evenly, no sticking and the sausage came out great. Finally, leaving all the sausage remnants in the pan untouched I fried two more eggs sunny side up, and again there was no sticking the eggs slid right out with no issues - again its still early in the game but I found this very encouraging, often frying an egg after sausage makes it hard to retrieve the egg - but not in this case, in fact though I am a nonstick skeptic I already love this pan -- but I know in my heart only time will show how good a companion this pan proves to be. I would say if this pan could deliver say, five to seven years of this kind of performance its a bargain for $30, almost nothing today is built to last like things used to so the five to seven year rule is just my opinion and in todays world not many things last five to seven years, so I figure that would be a very good lifespan for a $30 non stick pan, and hopefully being made in Germany will mean something as far as build quality making it a realistic projection - but so far I have nothing bad at all to say about the pans performance or overall build quality, given what I know so far of it the $30 price seems well in line and for now I have to say its a solid performer and definitely one to try if youre looking, its not a run of the mill TV ad clone and its one of the reasons I pulled the trigger. Ive only seen the one size so far, hopefully there will be and 8 and 12 inch available, because if it proves itself good I definitely want another one or two of these pans.

Great nonstick frying pan! Easy to cook with and easy to clean.
I am very picky with frying pans. This one has impressed me. I have had no issues with food sticking and no issues with clean up. It has a good weight to it, not too heavy. For those reviewers that had issues with it, maybe they had the heat on too high or maybe used metal utensils? If you keep heat on medium (the pan heats up really well, not need for high heat) then there is no burning or discoloration. If you use silicon or bamboo cooking utensils, there is no scratching or wearing down of the non-stick surface. Also important to remember not to pour really cold water on very hot pan. This can wear down nonstick coating. I bought another one from same company in larger size and use both regularly. They are great frying pans!

No stick that really works
Besides being a great 8" looking pan it's very sturdy. The pan is not warped. The handle is attractive and easy to grip and hold. The lid fits perfect and most importantly, food doesn't stick. The red color is unique. Looking to purchase another larger pan.

A disappointment (UPDATED)
UPDATE: The company reached out to me, apologized for my experience, and sent me a new pan. I've only had it for a few days, but so far so good. I updated the 'stars', since I was impressed by this level of costumer service. I am hopeful that I'll have better luck with pan. At first, I loved this pan. It was super non-stick and easy to clean. But after a few months, the coating started to flake off. The edges of the bottom of the pan now have a rough texture. I took very good care of it. I handwashed it only with non-abrasive cleaners and never used it on high heat. I'm very frustrated that after only 5 months, I have to throw it out.

This is amazing frying pan
I just love this frying pan. First thing what I've done after I received this frying pan is to check if it's really can fry without oil. So, I fried eggs for my breakfast and they came out perfect. The trick is to fry over medium hit, and the eggs just come out perfectly done and slide out easily. The handle is so cool and smooth, it's a pleasure to hold it. And it's real wood. It's a pleasure to clean it, it's so easy, takes seconds, Also, the pan is just beautiful, and I am going to order another one of a different size. Finally, I've got the pan that I really like.

Great Nonstick pan! Great Gift!
This nonstick pan is fantastic! The food does not stick to the pan & it’s extremely easy to wash! The listing says they can go in the dishwasher… But I usually just wash my nice pans by hand because I think they last longer! It doesn’t come with a lid...but that’s ok. This is the perfect pan for your kitchen because you can cook your food quick & easy! I got rid of some old pans that were terrible and I was so excited to get a nice new pan!! This would also make an awesome wedding gift! Every kitchen needs a nice pan like this! Definitely recommend these!

Great initial impression
When looking for a good non stick pan I consider the following: - handle: this one has a great smooth handle that doesn't feel like the type to fall apart (or become loose) over time - sturdiness: many pans out there are too thin and warp, which may be ok unless you have an electric stovetop like me. This pan is perfectly leveled and cooks evenly. - non-stick: of course this may fade with time but for now it's holding quite well - flat surface area: always consider not just the diameter of a pan but also the base diameter. This is one of the larger kind meaning it doesn't slope as much and so gives you more real estate for things that need to go flat. TLDR; great pan! Will update in a few months to see how it's holding up
