I've worn it everyday for 3 months. Only some light smoothing of the edges. Everything else has held up perfectly. I love to tell people about the dual symbolism of the nails out through Jesus, and the reference to the Coventry Cross of Nails.

Great cross, bad neckstrap design
I really like the cross itself. I wear it daily, even in the shower with no corrosion or rusting so far. Now, my only con is the very poor quality, (in my opinion), neckstrap that came with it. It is very lightweight quality rubber band type material. Mine broke as I was trying to put it on the first time I wore it! I had anticipated this, (other purchasers reviews), and ordered a better quality 4mm chain to go along with it, with excellent results. So my advice is.... If you order this necklace, have another chain to wear it with. Overall, happy with my purchase.
