I needed to replace a sterling silver chain that Kept tarnishing. I knew that only gold would hold up to our hot and humid climate, but I had no idea how much gold had increased in price. I didn’t want to spend a fortune for a chain to hang a CZ stone from! This is really a beautiful chain. It is thin, but for the price, I wasn’t expecting any more weight or durability. It looks very pretty with my single CZ stone that I wear when traveling. It really catches the light more than a flat chain. I have a very thin neck and it hangs perfectly for me. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5, is that the clasp is very tiny, a bit hard to open, and I feel that if anything broke over time, it would be the clasp.

I was a little skeptical about buying jewelry online, especially for the low price of this chain compared to similar items on some jewelry websites I checked out. This is the lowest price I could find for a chain this length in 14K gold; most started in the $130-150 ballpark and went up steeply from there. So I thought at $90 this one might appear cheap but was pleasantly surprised to find that it absolutely doesn't! I got the chain to go with a very expensive gold and diamond pendant as a gift for my sister and crossed my fingers that it would be of good quality because this little sister, the queen of gold jewelry, can spot fakes a mile away. And, you know, you like a gift to be really nice! Well, the chain is gorgeous! I hadn't seen this style before, and it looked interesting but possibly a little bulky or clunky. Not so! It's actually quite delicate, and the pendant looks great on it. So there you go! Worth every penny and then some.

Very small & dainty. The clasp will absolutely have to be replaced because it's too tiny to even work with. Altogether, it's a beautiful piece, only time will tell if it will hold up without breaking.

The clasp was impossible to open and hook to the very, very small jump ring. The chain itself was more substantial than I expected and had a nice shine. I didn't want to spend additional money for a 14 karat gold lobster claw clasp and for the jeweler to replace it. I would have kept it, if the clasp wasn't so impossible.

Very impressed with the chain when I first received it but it broke in less than a day. It is a nice chain but is toooo delicate (it will eventually break) I took it to a jewelry shop and they have had to do 2 different repairs to this NEW necklace.
