Great CD
This is one of my favorites and I still have it on cassette ;so was very happy to find on cd. I wanted the original version ; so was a little disappointed to find out it is a remastered version but sounds good , but not as good as original in my opinion.

Best Glam Album ever!
... Done 80s style. Almost all ten tracks on this are glam rock perfection. There are different approaches to glam; some have a more artsy approach like Roxy Music and Curved Air; some a little more punk like Suzi Quatro, some boogie style like the excellent Slade! Or more rock meets pop like Duran Duran - a band that Stephen Pearcy himself is a fan off! Van Halen too have glam elements, and there's electro stuff like Goldfrapp. But this one is full of hard rocking but sleazy, glammed up songs. They've just got quality to their hooks, songwriting - Crosby was a great talent. Pearcy is a good singer within this style too. Invasion of your privacy just completely holds up today, now just shy of its 30th anniversary! This has got that 1985 sound allover it.

A Remastered Classic
I love me some Ratt. They were one of the first bands that got me into rock music. This record is one jam after another. And the remaster sounds fantastic!

Right now....and how...
Ratt was looking to avoid the sophomore slump when in July of 1985 they released `Invasion of Your Privacy' and in many ways they succeeded. Although it would be fair to say that Ratt peaked with `Out of the Cellar', the second LP was a more than competent slice of Hollyrock, like a summer's evening on the Sunset Strip. It was on `Invasion' that Warren De Martini solidified his position as Ratt's main lead guitarist and tasty would be a fair description of this man's licks. I remember seeing the debut of the video for "Lay It Down" and to this day it remains my favorite Ratt track and DeMartini goes all Joe Perry on ya! "You're in Love" was an outstanding opener with another hilarious video featuring Errol Flynn, Olivia de Havilland and Ronald Reagan! "Between the Eyes" is probably the real unsung tune on the record and has a great verse and melody. The aggression of Pearcy's voice matched very well with the pop sensibility which is why Ratt was able to carve a niche for themselves during the hair metal era. "Closer to My Heart" and "Give It All" and "Got Me on the Line" are all enjoyable slices of Ratt n' roll and are along with the aforementioned songs why I always like albums one and two about the same. It was after the second that the law of diminishing returns started to catch up to Ratt. Still "Invasion of Your Privacy" is as glossy and glamorous as a metal album that you would find in the mid-eighties.

Good quality remaster
Very surprised. A label that knows how to actually make a good remaster to CD. Sound is great. Clear and full at high levels. Maintains the original sound from cassette back in the day.

Good mixture of musicians
I never listened to RATT before except on the radio back in 1984/1985 when "Round and Round" was big. This album, Invasion Of Your Privacy, is VERY entertaining I think mainly because of Bobby Blotzer's style on the drums. He hits everything so hard, but yet always in sensible sync with the direction of the song, just common sense playing the way it should be done. And this goes to say with all of the other band members that played on this album, it is done just right for the sole purpose of the songs, the album, for RATT, and ultimately for music.I recommend to listen to this album either on your headphones or in your car (preferably by yourself to reduce possible distractions) with the bass and treble turned UP.

Rock Candy Is Finally Giving Us The Sound 80's Metal Fans Have Dreamed Of.
Thanks, Rock Candy for doing what you are doing with these Ratt albums and the other albums you are remastering. This sounds great and the other Ratt CD's I bought do too. The only one of these remasters I have bought that didn't sound great was Quiet Riot QR III but I am guessing there wasn't a lot they could do with it because of the master tapes and the recording process of that album.

RATT'S BEST EVER ALBUM!
Simply put in my opinion this is RATT'S best ever album, RATT are often compared to the America band Motley Crue but to me Ratt make much better, stronger albums, this is well produced and well executed rock music, enough said. ***** stars.
