Has great color if you want a natural glow but I like a little darker

It’s very orange. I’m so bummed. I put this on about four days ago and you can see it’s already peeling. I had hoped norvell wouldn’t go orange but it did. Guess I’ll try loving tan next!

I have used all of the self-tanners, all of the high-end tanners, all the drugstore-tanners. I bought Cosmo and a cheap plastic pump bottle from Amazon to turn this liquid into a foam. This is hands down the best self tanner I have ever used in almost 20 years of self tanning. Lasts at LEAST a week but could be stretched out if careful. Not orange at all, and I am very fair skinned and freckled with a yellow/olive undertone. The application has zero streaks if done correctly. Shave and exfoliate at least an hour or two before you plan on applying. I apply a light lotion to the tops of my feet, back of heels, wrists and hands, elbows, and knees. Let it dry for a few minutes. I sleep in this, and there are no streaks. It will get on white bedding or clothing. I wear super lightweight long sleeved dark pajamas to bed to avoid any skin sticking together, because I find that can cause rubbing off of any self tanner and makes it splotchy. I will say that the color guard on this is super natural looking and if you have to, it could be worn out and about without looking crazy. The smell is not bad in the beginning, but you will inevitably smell like a burnt dorito because that’s what happens. It’s par for the course, and I find the developing tan smell on this one isn’t the worst and it’s not the best. It just is what it is. Wake up in the morning and rinse off well, no soap, just rinse off and moisturize. It is perfection. Truly. Don’t hesitate. If you don’t use this as a spray, and I have done that with other Norvell liquids in normal spray bottles, get a cheap foam dispenser because I think it’s a game changer. I will buy this and only this from now on.

Update; For the amount of time needed to wait to wash this off the color pay off is underwhelming. I did use a mitt and I may have been too conservative so I'll update again next week after it fades and I try again.Just put it on my legs and I'm going to wait 24 hours before showering it off as the bottle recommended. It had a very pleasant scent and dried very quickly, is not sticky at all. There's a very subtle color guide, I used a mitt and it blended easily.I was able to dress within a few minutes and I usually HATE self tanners because they always make me feel sweaty and sticky but this one wasn't like that. I'll update after the 24 hours

I followed the tiktok trend and bought a foaming soap dispenser and poured this into it. It didn't foam the way I wanted it to, but I used my glove to apply it. Still perfection. The color looks natural and it was not streaky. I've had it on for four days, and my color is still pretty solid. That's with two showers in there (I work out a lot). I definitely recommend giving this a try. I was using BeTan and the color never lasted, and I would end up looking like a leopard.I did exfoliate and shave prior to applying. I also put lotion on my elbows, ankles, knees, wrists. I left it on for the recommended 24 hours on my body. I did wash my face after 9 hours (I slept with the tanner), simply because it's apart of my routine and I have tanning drops if need be. My face still had color.
