Street Fire is Right!
Took me about 2 hours to install. Not the products fault, im a shade tree mechanic and the original coil was hard to reach. Once hooked up I could tell a difference in the amount of time it took to fire my truck up. Stick with well known names like MSD and you'll never go wrong...EDIT: 6 years later and it hasn't failed me yet through Midwest winters and humidity that would kill a fish...Fires right up everytime.

No voltage specs
I looked hard and even Holley/MSD does not have voltage output specs for this. They say it is an increase over factory because it has more copper windings inside to increase voltage over stock.Ok, but how much MSD? Inquiring minds want to know?Ive had one on my old 86 f150 with 4.9L, and I just put it on my 1996 F150 4.9L I just recently acquired. I'm sure its around 48,000 - 52,000 volts range. I just wish I had the specs to be sure. The one on my 86 lasted a long time when I got rid of truck. So I'll try this again on this 96 I just got. Stupid MSD doesn't make distributor cap/ rotor for 4.9L like they do for v8s. It would be nice

not a bad product for its price
i installed this on a 1993 lincoln continental my personal car my car had the same stock coil it came with from the factory after i dropped this into my car it made it run smoother and it cleaned up my throttle response quite well definitely some power restored if not gained by using this coil the engine is a 3.8l v6 so its not like it has a lot of power to begin with but this sure helped

Stick with OEM
Purchased this for my 89' F150 thinking it would help improve the ignition system. After approximately 6 months I started getting a misfire, and then eventually the truck failed to start at all. Put the old coil back in and it started right up amd ran smooth. MSD is not what it was 20 years ago.

Worked Fine
Replaced my 1994 f150 coil with 430,000 miles on it with this one. Install was easy 4 screws and one wire connector. Throws a strong spark. Remember to put dialectic grease on connectors,

Sin mejora en desempeño
El artículo es bueno no sentí alguna mejora pero en cuanto a las emisiones contaminantes si ayuda al medio ambiente y al rendimiento del combustible pero en cuanto a potencia no es notable
