While the exterior dimensions of this item are correctly described, beware that the internal dimensions are smaller. Because of the thick casing and decreased size of the zipper opening, this holds documents about 1" smaller than the exterior dimensions. I ended up sending it back and will be purchasing a larger similar product. This would be fine for 8×10" documents.

This was bought for our Condos CCR and yearly meeting minutes to preserve them. I bought 2 and only needed one as they are quite roomy inside. So I kept the other one for personal important documents. I hope I never have to write a review as to whether they work or not. But they are sturdy and well made.
