Great idea. Strong. Comfortable grip. But.....in my shower stall with limited space, my friend pointed out that the rounded edge of the flat base looks ominously dangerous. I wanted to place the grip and shelf low for grip support should I need to shower from a chair. But until then, it would be convenient as a soap & container shelf while standing. Though not sharp when you put your fingers and hand directly on base edge, but what if you showering standing and soap suds have your eyes closed. You suddenly and quickly turn with the back of your hand accidentally contacting and swinging across the rounded base. I fear my 75 year old thin skin probably would get lacerated. My planned location for this was just an accident waiting to happen. It would have been a case of bad circumstances of proximity, hand speed and the height of that flat shelf. Ugh, I canceled my installation plans and returned it.
