I am very pleased with the sleek neat appearance of this salt and pepper shaker. It was easy to dismantle to wash and reassemble - so unlike other grinders I've owned.Dial in grind is good so far, I do not expect a break down in grinding efficiency. The empty grinder is light weight and see through so you can tell if something is finishing - not get a surprise.I also like the fact that it has covers which prevents leaving a circular mess where it's put to rest. It maintains a level of sanitation by keeping the grinder sealed from insects when used outside. Now that I am using it and seeing its efficiency, I am planning to purchase another for a different purpose.Which leads to my problem - that it is not color coded or in some way offer a variety for; 1) persons who want to coordinate color in their kitchen, 2) somewhat different to be easily identifiable when using different items which appear the same at first glance, 3) larger - different physical sizes for heavy Vs light use. This is just a personal peeve because of my plan to have different flavors of salt, dried pimento berries (which resembles black peppercorns) which would make it easy to differentiate.Other than my personal preference - it's a great product.

Finally came the day that I got one, and I love it. No more fiddling with two shakers/grinders, laziness has set it and is reigning supreme. These are incredibly easy and simple to use, but the caps can get a little annoying sometimes. Outside of that, the grain sizes can be a bit finicky too, but overall is pretty simple.If you're a lazy bum like me, grab one of these babies, and bask in the few glorious extra seconds it saves you.

This grinder was purchased in January of 2017 and it had been working ok. However it finally broke on us today. The ceramic grinder adjustment appeared to be held down with a single screw of which the piece attached to the ceramic was no longer held down. This causes large chunks of salt to be released. The grind is no longer adjustable.

Love it! I've been thru about 4-5 grinders over the last year. Started with the disposable plastic ones you find full of salt or pepper in the grocery store, those were always breaking before the salt or pepper run out. I've purchased about 3 on Amazon, some worked for a little while then stopped, they either got jammed or the grinders wore out, I don't know, maybe just poorly made. I was skeptical about this one because I didn't realize they functioned independently on their own. I didn't think I wanted just one shaker with both salt and pepper BUT turns out I LOVE IT, so handy to have 1 shaker and just flip your wrist to choose one, rather than reaching for another shaker. The adjuster works perfectly and hasn't jammed yet. Couldn't ask for a better grinder.

This double grinder is well made and has exceeded our expectations. Initial preparation was easy in filling up with Himalayan salt and black peppercorns. Adjusting the grind is straightforward and seems like it will never change until needed, unlike some older grinders. While using, it offers a decent workout for the wrists. We find that we have to switch hands for dinner prep. It takes some getting used to, as we have forgotten to remove the covers while cooking.

Purchased one of these and the threads of the grinder were stripped when I took it out of the box. Only one side was usable. Returned it and ordered another. On the second one, the chrome top, where the Monster Kitchen logo is, was not glued properly and came off upon opening the package. Not wanted to go through further time wasted of having to return another, I super glued it and works well. After the fix, this product has worked ok. Just hope you don't get an out of box defect as they seem to be common. In hindsight, probably should have paid for a more expensive brand to avoid these troubles.

The grinder! It is not the best. Looks great and grind find until it no grind no more. The lids are not stay put so, I will look for something different next time. Also, if you read this: RESEARH FLAT EARTH too.

Fantastic Salt and Pepper Grinder! The grinder settings are easy to adjust. Could not ask for a better warranty!So far I have not received an email to download the E-book Recipe book.Update: JulyPurchased this grinder in December of last year. It seems to be getting some rust spots on the salt part of the grinder.

I bought this in 2016 and it has worked satisfactorily for the past three years. I liked the idea of having the salt and pepper in one, and I would buy another two-in-one kinda thing again. However the caps don't stay on like they used to and are quite loose. At least half the time when you lift it up the cap stays on the counter and doesn't stay on, which is really disappointing. Both grinders do still work though, so at least there's that.But I wouldn't buy this again, I'd look for something else in the future.

Very disappointing!! A good idea but an inferior fabrication. I spent time repairing. The plastic grinding stone retainer stripped so had to be replaced by common bolts. One of the stainless steel ends became unglued .. I also spent time repairing. Most would have put the unit in the garbage. It didn't impress my friends very long.

We bought this and didn't have it very long at all. I liked the idea of the salt and pepper being in the same thing so less clutter on table. The pepper grinder stopped working and no amount of adjusting has sorted it out. So I am now just using this for salt and the old one for pepper until we find a new one. Now the salt has stopped working. I wouldn't buy this again or recommend it.

This grinder is perfect! Very easy to fill, use and clean. I use mine for black pepper and for allspice. Baking mostly. I own 2 single grinders, the old wooden style, that I used to use for pepper and salt that is no where near as good so I may have to buy another of these and find something else to grind.

Oh, so much convenience and glow. It came perfectly fast, its shaped perfectly beautiful, very nice steel look and it grinds perfectly. Just my annoying hands keep on forgetting the covers on each side but now i am enjoying perfect grind for both my sea salt and pepper. Will recommend to buy it.
