First thoughts: • The watercolors are super creamy and pigmented and rewet super easily • The paper is 300 gsm and showed zero signs of warping but also has great texture! • The paintbrushes and water brush are pretty standard but they’re good quality and don’t seem to skip on the paper • The white gel pen is more opaque than I expected and is pretty comparable to gelly rolls with some slight skipping • The pencil has lead in it and erases 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 • The eraser isn’t perfect so you’ll want to write lightly if you want the pencil to fully disappear when using it and the brush tip on the pen will fray pretty quickly if using it with the watercolor paper but the fine tip is 👌🏼 • For $35 this is actually a steal, and the box is solid (where my millennials who understand this at?!) with magnetic closure so it all stores neatly which is great. TL;DR this is a great watercolor set and definitely worth the cost!

I can't say enough good things about this watercolor set, I am going to start with the watercolor paints, they are pigmented, bold, blend beautifully, he best I have tried in this price range and even comparing them to more expensive well known brands. It comes with a pencil, sharpener and eraser, again super good quality, comes with four watercolors brushes, water brush and a white gel pen, and a block of paper that I can't stop loving, I will even say that it is close in quality to Archers paper. In all I am very impress that Pagos art put together this set for that price. I 100% recommend this set for anyone, beginners to professionals.

This comes with a lot of colors, a sharpener, pencil, sponge, brush, clear marker, and some small watercolor painting papers. I wish it would have come with an eraser and more than one brush, but overall I’m satisfied & I do recommend this. Comes with a cute bag to put everything back into. It’s all in a tin rectangle box as well. Great for the price.

I bought this set because my daughter’s art teacher recommended. I searched and I liked the quality and price. I purchased it and my daughter received it, she opened the Amazon box and she fell in love with the watercolor box and its bag. It is easy to use for her since is a beginner artist. The box includes watercolor paint papers and it is amazing when I see my daughter paints. Colors are vivid and concentrated. Highly recommended.

This is an incredible set. The minute I opened my Amazon package I knew I was in for a surprise. A velvet bag to carry the whole kit in! And the paints are glorious. Bright, vivid, translucent. And the spread easily and are perfect for my loose watercolor technique. This is a great great starter kit because it comes with everything you need to begin your watercolor journey. Great for kids by the way.

The packaging is completely adorable, and the great variety of watercolors are perfect to paint my modern florals. I’m in love 💖 with it and I’ll be creating much more art using those. . This watercolor paint set is one of the best I've used! The paints are very bright and pigmented, as you can see in the photo of the painting. I also really liked the paper and brushes - both very good for watercolor/wet media art. The set comes with everything you need for watercolors and I would recommend it to anyone, whether beginner or professional.

Unfortunately I didn’t look for any reviews or help before purchasing this as my first watercolor set but this is exactly the kind of “chalky” watercolors beginners are told to avoid. I loved the color palette and it at least gave me enough of a watercolor intro to know I wanted to continue in the hobby, but I fought against the paints each time to keep them hydrated (using a spray bottle) and it was very hit or miss with how much pigment you can get on the brush. I highly recommend choosing a set of watercolor pans or tubes if you see your interest in watercolor as more than fleeting, because I won’t be using this set after upgrading to real pan watercolors since it is so difficult to use.
