Would this be a good game for two adults?

Probably a little late with this answer for you but absolutely, it is a fantastic game & plays really well at a two player count.

How easy is it to play this? Is it time consuming? Is it fun or also a bit tedious?

Quite easy. Much easier if you watch a play through on YouTube. This will also give you a good idea of how the gameplay is. It is good fun and we still enjoy getting it out for a game or two every few weeks. There is a lot to learn by playing it and working out what is the best strategies. It doesn’t take too long once you have worked out the rules, it really depends on how many players and how chilled you are playing it. I would suggest about 30mins for an average game. Well worth the money IMO
