Not exactly sure about your question... I don't know if Dogtra has extra remotes available for purchase. Have you looked on their website? I'm also not sure what you mean by walking the dogs with a friend. Are you all walking together or are you and your friend going in different directions each with a single pup? If different directions, then I would encourage to check out the Dogtra website, I have purchased different color collars there, but it's been awhile and I don't remember what they have available in remotes. Hope this helps.
