DOHA and QATAR TRAVEL GUIDE BOOK

This was not the usual handy travel guide one expects
The text is very heavy going. The index incomprehensible. I still have not located my five star hotel in the 100 pages of the chapter titled 'Locations, Restaurants and Hotels'. I opted for the expensive colour version...a waste of money for the minimal images therein. Having travelled to well over 100 countries this was not the usual handy travel guide one expects.

not worth the money/don't buy it
I bought this guide as a present for my brother who is going to Qatar, and I'm so embarassed that I won't give it to him as one of his Christmas presents, it's totally not worth any money. If you're expecting something remotely similar to a Lonely Planet guide, forget about it, it's a simple and simplistic collage of basic information (and not even all of it useful to a traveller) that you can find on the internet. The pictures are so tiny you can't actually use them to go anywhere and look like screenshots taken from the internet (again). Basically, an amateur attempt to writing a guide book. I'd give it back, but it's costed me money already and don't want to spend time on it with the back and forth as well.

COULD BE BETTER GUIDE FOR ME
Doha city broken up and not easy for me to follow in my opinion.
