Hot or Cold packs, reusable

seller sent a random different brand
Watch out -- this seller may not send what you ordered! I ordered Jack Frost Reusable Hot/Cold Pack 4" x 6", as shown, and received a random different brand. My one-star review is for the seller only. Jack Frost gel packs themselves are great -- they last virtually forever, and they are insulated on one side, which helps to prevent skin damage. I have been using them at home for 15 years, and they are also the brand that my local hospital stocks.I noticed that someone posted about one of the bags exploding. I do use these gel packs for both cold and heat, but when I microwave them, I only heat them in very short increments (15 seconds), and I make sure the pack isn't folded.

Glue residue
Why in the world did they put a sticker on the pack (especially on the side you place against your skin)? I had to use Goo Gone to clean the leftover glue residue. Extra work not needed.

Convenient and effective.
The gel packs heat up on 50 seconds, but lasts for quite awhile. They're portable if your traveling. I only pack on checked luggage, so it's great when you get to the hotel. They also come in different sizes.

Jack Frost Reusable Hot/Cold Pack 4" x 6"
I use for cold only after long days in the yard. Comfortable to use, stays cold long enough to soothe. Nice mini size for small area icing

At least it wasn't terribly expensive
Pack exploded second time I heated it in the microwave even though I followed instructions to the letter.I would advise cutting back on heating time by about 25% and watching it very carefully.Probably better used as a Cold Pack.

Great size and they last years even with weekly use.
These are great. I've had a set for about 4 years and just lost one so ordered this replacement. They heat and freeze well repeatedly and are small enough to carry in your purse.

these are awesome
if you need freezer packs for injuries --these are the ones--they last a long time--they bend easily and you can use them hot or cold-i'm planning to buy more when i get a chance
