Tobin Santa with Kitten Counted Cross Stitch Stocking Kit

Yes, it comes with 18 count cloth but it's not that tiny in good light. The threads come predicted, as huge plus, but the needle that came with it was so poorly made, the thread wouldn't even go into the eye. The picture is very well detailed and very good colors. Doesn't come with a lining fabric and the fabric provided for the back is cute but thin .

The stocking itself is very cute. The floss seemed very old - was thin and pulled apart! Ended up switching to all my own thread and buying what I didn’t have. Shouldn’t have to do that. Disappointing and I paid for the entire kit.

It is 18 count...not 14 count as advertised...which makes a big difference to someone who is having difficulty with seeing smaller stitches. The cloth included in the kit is so so quality. I will be purchasing some better quality 14 count cloth to complete the stocking. I hope the thread holds out for 14 count cloth as the stitches will be larger and take more thread. It is a darling pattern and I look forward seeing how it comes out when it is all said and done.

Very upset w Tobin that they would misrepresent an item to sell on Amazon. I couldn't read the graph, even w my best reading glasses let alone the cloth. If it was in fact 14ct and the graph was in proportion as well then it would have been a joy to do. However it is in fact 18ct and now I'm stuck with something I can't use and now on the hunt for something else.

As described, this kit was unopened & new. Shortly after receiving the kit, which was only a few weeks ago, I prepared the cloth & thread & started cross stitching. It looks like there will be enough thread, although it is too early to tell. My main complaint is not with Amazon but with the manufacturer--the cloth is a little short in width so the design will end up close to the edge &, also, the color symbols are not dark enough. In previous counted cross stitch Christmas stockings I have made, the cloth has been wider so the design was not too close to the edge, allowing ample room to stitch to the backing fabric & the symbols were darker. I do like the design &, although it will take me a while, I look forward to seeing it finished.

I'm making my family new stockings and this turned out just beautiful. I have yet to turn it into the stocking since I have many to cross stitch first and then I will turn them into stockings.

Loved the kit, but poor quality thread. The thread kept shredding while I was working on the picture. I did contact the company and was sent another thread kit. I appreciate that.

Beautiful design, plenty of floss. Fabric is 18 count not 14 and pattern is difficult to see. I used a copy machine to enlarge the pattern but it was still a struggle. A lot of the symbols were very similar.
