Last fall I developed neuropathy (which affects your feet. It's like walking on red, hot nails or pins.) I tried to contact my doctor, but no matter what time of the day or night I could not get through the phone number was just not working.... so for 38 days I laid in this bed and the only pain relief I could get was using this electric blanket!..: the heat lowered the pain threshold from an eight or nine to a 5-6 enough to get some decent sleep now I've used this blanket 24 hours a day. It seems like for at least six months with absolutely no problems. I ended up going to the hospital and got some medication to help my neuropathy but I can't tell you how happy I was to be able to use this blanket to help. I highly recommend it!

Heats up very quickly and stays warm for long. The controller is very easy to use and understand. The cord is very long, much longer than what we need it to be, but I’m sure that’s very beneficial in other circumstances. Highly recommend.

Grew up in the winters of Chicago and never used an electric blanket. However, when I moved into a large older brownstone in Boston, I thought I'd try it. And I loved it! How did I not live with an electric blanket before? I just used it for myself so I would recommend for 1 person but I can see 2 people cozying up sharing. Easy to wash and worked just fine. Took a couple of times for me to plug and re-plug to get the screen to pop up, but worked exactly as it did out of the box. I even use it now in 50 degree weather!

Listen, this is just me saying, but if this wonderfully soft, electric blanket doesn't succeed in keeping you toasty, well, maybe there's a part of you that's cold and unfeeling and doesn't care that the blanket has easy access controls and heats relatively quickly. Maybe your cold soul doesn't appreciate the incredibly soft, lightweight material this blanket is made of. Or the great color. Well, a cold soul will do that. Seriously, this blanket is pretty good. Left it on my bed to warm it before I got in and found it nice and toasty. Good blanket for the price. Cord length is also a good size.

These blankets are soft and fluffy and luxurious, and the heat is very very nice and hot enough. I ended up buying a second one so both of my kids have them on their beds right now and I'm kind of jealous. I think I bought a third to give to my sister-in-law. They're actually quite nice and warm even without the heat turned on. Also the electronic control is kind of cool and you can read it at night cuz it's lit up. It has a temperature as well as a timer function although it's a little baffling to try and set the timer, you just have to keep hitting the timer button and it'll cycle through the hours, you don't use the plus-minus button. Typically I only wanted to heat up for like 2 hours or less and then I want it to go off and this makes it easy to do that.

This was a gift and it was a great blanket that was only used 2 months. The area the cord plugs into the blanket fell apart and now it has loose bare wires.Edit now it stopped heating. So it only lasted 2 months.

This blanket allows me to turn the heat down in my home. It is so warm and comfy when snuggling in front of the TV. I have washed it 3 times and the color, softness, and texture are the same.
