Just received the knee board, the info on the clipboard will come in handy. The board came with a broke clip; when I called the company they were quick to expedite a new product out to me. Very well constructed with high quality leather. I know I will love this product.I only wish they sold more heavy duty clips. But I can't complain with anything else

The iPad Mini Kneeboard Folio C by MYGOFLIGHT is a great option for any pilot that uses an iPad while flying. There are many reasons that ultimately made me decide to go with this options versus all of the other options on the market. For one, this is an extremely high quality product that is not only made to last, but is also designed to be adaptable to any future iPad models that you may purchase. Secondly, the detachable kneeboard allows for this case to be used as a normal iPad case until you fly. However, as several other reviewers mentioned the kneeboard does seem to fall off at the worst times during flight. The magnets are strong, but there needs to be a better way to secure it to the case. Several reviewers riveted the kneeboard directly to the case permanently, which is a good option if this is strictly for flying, but I've found that several binder clips do an excellent job of keeping it secure during flight. My big complaint on this case that I would have liked to have seen is having smart cover abilities. It would be nice to have the iPad wake up when the case is opened up, as the sleep/wake button is slightly hid by the iPad mounts for the case. However, this is only a minor detail that I would have liked to have seen. I am very pleased with this case and I expect it to serve me well for many years to come!

The leather case is nice, the ipad mini fits well and the iPen can be fixed with the iPad inside the case.When fixed to my leg, I open the case and put magnetic checklist-holder to the left side. Notices can be made on the iPad (foreflight-scratchpad).Disadvantages:1. the tape is too long for my leg, makes it more difficult to fix2. the tape cannot easily be fixed to the case once removed3. Have no idea how to fold the case in order to have the case standing upright. It's always moving back to its normal position.

This thing is great. protects the iPad and is very well made. I had to modify it some. No place to put a pencil and the note board is held by magnets.I had to put a rivet in there to keep in attached, otherwise it would fall off while I was flying.

It’s a decent board except for one major design flaw. The clips that hold the board are junk. They break from normal use. I never dropped it or anything. The clips are just made of cheap fragile plastic.

This is a great knee board. It does cost more than I think it should but it is well built and user friendly. I used it for instrument training and it definitely made life easier. It' easy to use and works on either leg.

Very nice, high quality. Quite pricey though.

I thought that this was exactly what I’m looking for, but was disappointed when it arrived.The clipboard is tiny, about 2/3 the size of a half sheet of paper. Without custom-making paper for it, the clipboard is nearly useless. The magnets that at arch it to the cover ar weak, and the case cannot be closed with the clipboard on the inside.The part that allows the case to tilt up to make viewing easier only works in landscape mode, and cannot be used with the strap attached. Adding the pivot so it can rotate makes the case about 30% thicker than it would be otherwise.I really wanted to like this case, but it’s just not designed well for any of its features and potential uses. I’m going to have to return this one.
