Hal's New York Seltzer Water, Cola Flavored Sparkling Water, 20 Fl Oz Bottles (Pack of 24)

Love this stuff and wish it wasn't just limited edition! The cola flavor is slight, but definitely there. And the caffeine buzz is real. If you love drinking cola, like me, but don't love the sugars in full-calorie soda or the chemicals in diet, this is for you!

After Kroger discontinued their Fizz Co Cola Flavored Seltzer, I was distraught looking for a worthy replacement when I found this. I immediately ordered it and waited excitedly at the prospect of finally tasting my favorite flavor of seltzer water again. Woe is me, not only is this almost completely flavorless but it has an unnecessary high amount of caffeine. Why? Why add caffeine to seltzer water? It's just ridiculous. It sure as hell isn't for the flavor, since Fizz Co manage to replicate the cola flavor successfully without it. So why? I can't drink it since it's so much caffeine (118mg per 20 fl oz, whereas a same sized Coke has 53mg and a Diet Coke 70mg). LaCroix's cola water tastes nothing like cola, more like cinnamon water, but at least it has taste, unlike Hal's which I'm pretty sure the only taste it has is the bitterness of the caffeine. I normally don't leave reviews, but this was such a disappointment and waste of money that I felt a moral duty to warn others against making the same mistake.

I dont drink seltzer but this is the best one I've tasted by far. To get the cola taste with out the sugar definitely solves me soda drinking problem. 👍🏾

Pleasantly bubbly and a very unique flavor. I appreciate the caffeine content as well.

Spotted at a random lunch in an Essens. Taste: It reminds me of large movie theater coke, with mad ice. Love the caffeine kick too. Not overkill. Love it. Immediately bought a case for me and co worker.

…at all! Just a bitter taste. And way more caffeine than I can comfortably drink.Don’t know how all those positive reviews rave about the cola flavor! I have some Soda stream Diet Pepsi, but I’m wary of adding more caffeine. It’s really carbonated we’ll. I’ll drink it, but only one a day. And I’ll wince at every sip, or get used o it. No repeat business from me.
