So at first I didn’t care for the case, it sucks when you want to talk on speaker. But I tell you what. I was on the river tubing and got flipped over. My phone went into the river and we couldn’t find it. I gave up. I put the lost phone app on and just thought I would have to get a replacement phone. So 24 hours after losing my phone i get a call from it. Someone tubing the next day found it in the river. My phone was underwater for 24 hours in a fast moving river and it still works. The case is a little beat up now, but it saved my $700 phone. Best Buy yet!

I primarily bought this because of the lanyard. I knew I’d be taking pics on mountainsides, in the surf, in rainforests, etc., while I was in Costa Rica and knew I might never see my phone again if I dropped it. Luckily it happened while on flat ground (no damage to the phone from 4’ onto a pretty Sandy surface). I didn’t expect much for the price, but I did expect the lanyard to withstand a drop the length of the handle while I was wearing it. I’d return it, but I won’t be back from CR in time, and I was able to use the strings provided to make a new lanyard that so far seems much sturdier. Like me, it may not be purdy, but it works!I never intended to use it under water and after receiving it I feel that was the right call. The seal seems to close well, but it only took a light fingernail pressed against the seam to separate the pieces. But I still rated water resistance 3 since I didn’t have any issues with the case getting splashed while I was walking in the surf. All I was looking for here was a second layer of water resistance from the IP68 iPhone 11 rating especially since I’d be in salt water as well.It held up well enough when it dropped, so no complaints there.

Bought this for my daughters iPhone 11. Haven't tested water resistance however phone is still in tact, case feels cheap off but on, the quality is just as nice as a life proof case! Good grip, great color, we for the real. My daughter enjoys putting things in the back of her phone and clear back allows for the customization.

The downfall I had with this case:Constantly having to take the case off while on a FaceTime call, for the other person to hear me. Everyone would tell me they could see me talking, but heard nothing. Super inconvenient taking it off all the time for a ft call.I do love the clear case for the obvious reason of showing off the color of my phone, but I’m now breaking down after 4 months of having this one, constantly removing it to FaceTime, and ordering a different case.

Screen goes black while on a call and you can't tap the screen to get the keypad back. The sensor at the top of phone seems to be covered by case. Had to order different case to see if we have the same issue.
