A boring read with no substance.
Im not sure why this book has such high ratings. The language was basic, the characters one dimensional and the story very rushed (even while nothing happened). To top it all off the lead is childish instead of child like, flat and annoying and I wont even start on the men. I liked the idea of this book but the execution was all round blah. I wish I hadn't bought it and recommend you look elsewhere.

Loved It
So far, this has been my favorite M. Sinclair book. I love how sweet Maya is and while she is naive and innocent, she isn't stupid. She is also pretty strong and just cute. So far, I like all of her mates, but I'm looking forward to learning more about them as things move really fast in this book and not a whole lot of "getting to know you" instances take place. One thing that I'm happy about is that this book doesn't end on a cliffhanger, but there are still plenty of things that can happen to move the story forward.

Great start to amazing characters!
I absolutely loved all the characters! I just want MOOOORE! I loved Maya so much. She’s different from this authors other characters. Much softer and so sweet and absolutely adorable but with an inner strength and intelligence. Each of her men have such a strong devotion to her. I love where this book is heading and can’t wait to explore Maya’s harem more.

Captivating
I obsessively got sucked in and burned through this book. Dying for more. I've read so !any books where the guys are jerks or take forever to come around, so this was a beautiful change of pace with absolute love and devotion

Kept attention, but almost dnf
Story kept my attention but I started skimming at ~ 70% for the meat of the story. I wanted to know what happened, but Maya started to annoy me.Some main problems that bothered me about this book:1) Although the FMC was understandably naive, it was done in a way that made her almost too innocent. She was childlike and uncomfortably immature. It was awkward to read sometimes.2) I know the author had to have a reason to put Maya in physical danger to give us those wonderful “possessive-mate” scenes, but there’s just no way those men would’ve actually let her return home. Her 18th birthday was like, 5 days away. It just wasn’t believable that they feared.. what, exactly? The shifter cops (that were on their side) dragging her home? Foster care? Foster care wouldn’t have bothered to take her when Maya was basically already 18.3) I hate to say it, but there were too many guys. I think cutting the group to 5 (max) would have helped greatly. There were some guys we barely got to know, and I didn’t feel the chemistry was strong with several of them. There should’ve been maybe 4 or 5 that we could’ve really spent time getting to know. It’s hard to flesh out 7 men in one book and make readers feel like they’re all different, with active parts of the relationship.Overall decent. Had some fun alpha scenes. It’s for you if you like possessive/protective MMCs and can overlook the FMC’s excessive, eye-roll inducing naivety.

Dragons and wolves what more do you need
This was my first Dragon shifter book and it was a lot better then I expected. Maya's background is a bit dark, if your uncomfortable with physical abuse do not read. It doesn't get extremely graphic but it's unsettling to say the least. Other then that you get 6 sexy dragons one muscled sinful wolf and an adorable strong naive of the shifter world or honestly the world in general MFC. I wish there would have been a bit more backstory on the men, and also a little more information about dragon shifters/society. The relationship moved a little fast but I think for the story it makes sense. The ending leaves you wanting more but not feeling incomplete. Overall I definitely recommend giving this book a shot. I will be waiting for #2

That Maya is on Fire!!
**Warning: there is abuse emotional, verbal and physical.**Wholly Hotness, this book had me edge, heart pumping and fidgety. You meet Maya who lets just say that she has not had a good upbringing. She has been through a lot. Her mother decides to move with Maya to Washington. Then she meets Marco. He recognizes her immediately. Unfortunately she disappears and he is no clue how to find her. Then she starts school and meets Anani, Ledger and Henry. Whoa that is like hot guy over load. She did not have a good first day and goes home with the guys only to meet Sai and Atlas. Which once they meet they reveal that Marco is around. So the guys are trying to find out information about her but she is reluctant to tell them. These revelations did not make the guys happy. They are trying to find out what she is and she is introduced her to the supe community. Only to have some more bad things happen to her. She also meets Croy, wolf and then all hell breaks loose. We find out what she is and when you think the past is buried, it comes back like literally. The heat level is a medium burn and oh man was it good. I cannot wait for the next book!

Excellent read
What an excellent read, I absolutely love the first book in this series, it's not a nice past for the main character Maya and it looks like she's still got a few obstacles to jump over before she gets to full happiness with her mates, but I'm loving her journey.

Not 100% believable
The story is okay, but I find the main female character difficult to believe in and the book though shifter reminds me a lot of the ghost bird books
