Bought this vest for my special needs son as we have started walking at dusk/night and he is not 100% car aware. It is easy to put on, the buckles and adjustments are easy to use. The lights are super bright. He can be seen from a great distance. The battery charge seems to last a long time. We have used it at least 8 times for 45 minute walks and haven't had to charge it yet.The only slight con is that the on/off button on the battery pack doesn't 100% align with the logo on the vest. This makes it a little hard to turn on/off, but its a matter of feeling for the button instead of assuming its in the indicated spot.We do still need to carry a flashlight as the vest doesn't give off enough directional light if we are walking at night.

This vest is certainly bright, and is one of the few which offers warning lights on both the front and the back. These are very bright and I have no doubt that anyone wearing it would be easily visible.However, it is very small. The recipient (older female, 5'6", 175lbs, 40" waist without clothes) was unable to fasten the XL size around her waist. Not even close. The upper belt would snap shut, but not the lower. The result of this is that the front lights ended up under her armpits, and so she was invisible to oncoming traffic. If you look at the photos on the website, you will see that they are all of children.All this is a shame, because I like the front/back lights. If the company ever makes one of these that's actually sized for an adult then I might try it again.

Pretty comfortable, reflective and the LEDs are bright. I cannot speak to the battery life yet, but as one of the 2 star reviewers mention, you should *not* use blinking lights to alert drivers—use the solid lights function.My main complaint is that it is small. I’m not a huge guy, but the bottom of this goes right across the middle of my chest. So if you’re looking for something that goes a little lower or down to your waist, this won’t work. This is for the XL Version.

I've had my light up vest for about 3 months now and use it regularly during my night rides. All is as advertised. This by far is the best safety gear you can invest in. A worthwhile purchase indeed.

Great vest, very bright, easy to be seen by vehicles when walking or running before or after daylight. The battery life is fantastic, we got through 11 -50 minute walks with it on the steady setting before we had to recharge the battery. It is a light weight vest, the battery pack does not add a lot of weight, but it is slightly heavier than a standard reflective vest, though not a deal breaker.Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it is a bit misleading when it says adults can wear it, while somewhat true, it is not the most comfortable thing to wear if you are 6'2" 210 lbs! My wife wears it, and it fits her well. If you are a guy and want something to wear while jogging, it will work, but is a bit snug.

Pros - it works, it fits me, not flimsy, hold a chargeCons - I got the larger size and for someone who is small and short, the vest fit width-wise, but was even short for me; not the brightest white lights, but when you're out in the dark, it enough to see a few feet in front of you.

Worth all the money! From MN and as the days got shorter & my toddler still wanting to play outside in the country with limited lights overhead. Super bright, material is comfy, a little big for my 3 yr old, but fits great over winter jacket. Love the different settings and that it is rechargeable and easy to use

I am a small framed, 5ft woman and the S/M fits me perfectly. The vest lights up very brightly and it is easy to change the light sequence with the button, which sits on my left shoulder. I tested the battery when I first had the vest to see how long it would last. After 8 hours it was still going strong and recharged in less than an hour.I feel very safe walking in the dark in this vest and other walkers/runners have commented on how great it is to me.I have only been using it for 3 weeks so far and haven’t needed to wash it yet, so can’t comment on the long-term use.
