Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Gleam Cream Eyeshadow, Purple Possibilities, 0.1 Ounce

I love the color combinations in this set and use it quite often; in fact I've been using Maybelline New York Eye Studio Color Gleam Cream Eyeshadows for quite a few years now. I like it because I wear glasses and like a distinctive eye shadow which lasts, and it does. It does not cake or wear off, and I get compliments on my eye makeup. I now buy all of Maybelline's eyeshadow on line instead of searching in stores. I highly recommend it.

I prefer cream eyeshadows, but they can be hard to find. I have 1 brand I’ve been using for years that comes in a palette w/ several colors, plus a foundation/highlighting pod, but I wanted to try something different & I came across these. The colors are beautiful, the texture is very smooth & goes on nicely. So far, so good….but, it’s very sheer color. If you are going for so sheer that halfway through your makeup process you get interrupted by your phone & when you resume your application you ask yourself “did I do a layer?”, well, this is for you. That’s too sheer for me. I want eyeshadow w/ at least enough oomph to be able to see it myself, in the mirror. I find w/ this brand, it doesn’t last long because you have to use a lot to get enough semi sheer layers to get visible color. My other brand takes 1 layer-but, then, it’s a much more dense cream. This stuff FEELS great & the colors are pretty, but there’s not much too it. I’m sure there are makeup artists reading this & rolling their well painted eyes.

Too transparent and doesn’t stay on the eye lids

its nice but it creases so easily so I dont wear it much and applies a bit patchy maybe an eyeshadow primer would help though

This was a good product for a good price. I would recommend it. The pink is a little bright but the other colors work well.

Bought the Maybelline Eyestudio in Purple Possibilities (features a skin tone shade, a pretty orchid-purple and a really cutesy pink)and tried it out multiple ways (as a base for powders, with primer, etc etc) and was just not pleased with the results. The creme settled in my creases and just smudged all over the place - which was remarkable, considering I never once touched my face. I danced just enough to break a sweat, and my friend actually leaned over with a tissue when I returned to the table to wipe away a rivulet of color that was running down the side of my face! The makeup literally just melted off.I will be sticking to your awesome powder palettes, Maybelline - but this one was a waste of money.

I tried this because of tutorial on Pinterest. Wouldn’t suggest for older women. It does crease. Loved the color combination of it.

Beautiful color and goes on well even for someone with crepey eyelids like mine. I recommend it for women of all ages.

Love this eyeshadow, it stays all day.
