Summary: - Strong and Durable - Glide Well on Table - Hold Up Well to Heavy Use I bought these mallets to use with a table at my church's youth room. We can have upwards of 220 students on a Sunday morning so the air hockey table and the mallets get a lot of use. Also, the air hockey strategy preferred by many middle schooler students is to hit the puck as hard as possible with the mallet so the mallets get quite a workout on Sundays. We have had these mallets for over a year now, and they show no sign of wearing out. These mallets replaced the mallets that originally came with the table. The original mallets were made of two pieces of plastic, and broke in half very quickly. These mallets are molded as a single, solid unit. The plastic is hard and durable. If you are buying mallets for an air hockey table that sees a lot of use, these are a very good choice.

I purchased a home air hockey table and the mallets it came with were just horrible. They were hollow plastic and just felt dead when you hit the puck with them. These are nice and solid and really quicken up the puck action. They do not have felts like my originals but have caused no additional wear that I have noticed. Also I should note they have a very slight green tinge to them. Overall totally recommend these for upgrading your cheaper quality home air hockey mallets.

These are a serious upgrade to the strikers that came with the table. Solid piece of injected molded plastic as opposed to the two piece glued together versions. These do not have felt on the bottom, but those are available on Amazon as well.

Good mallets, but size is larger than our others and regular felts don't fit.

We have an 8 foot table at home ($1,000) and the standard mallets are pretty terrible and truly built for home use. I have won a few air hockey tournaments and am very familiar with Dynamo. - These are larger than what you would find with home tables, be aware of that. - These are much heaver than the standard mallets that come with home tables. Those lightweight ones tend to hurt your hands and will easily chip. - These are designed for commercial and competition use. I used these same mallets in competition and added some lead tape to the interior to add more weight - Commercial or competition units never come with felt! I see some people complaining that these are too big for them or that they do not come with felt. You are not viewing a product designed for home tables. These may or may not work well with your table. It is highly recommended that you add felt to the bottom of these to protect your home table. These are the Rolls Royces of air hockey mallets. Literally nothing better out there!

We had purchased an air hockey table for my son at Christmas. The strikers that came with it were very cheap & didn’t work well. I purchased theses as a replacement & we are very pleased. They are sturdy & work great. I had to purchase the felt backing to put on them but they were definitely worth it.

Robust and has a nice weight to it. Definitely an upgrade from standard red ones most tables come with.
