Very disappointing.
I bought this because I could not find the great Fire Hose Spray Nozzle that I had bought from Lowe's several years ago, there is no brand name on it either! Rats. This may be the same type, but several things are much lower quality:1. The blue stream adjuster bell is plastic, not rubber. One of the great things I love about this type of nozzle is that when I drop the hose, it hits softly, thus protecting the moving parts inside the nozzle from getting bent. This is a soft plastic as opposed to firm rubber.2. The nozzle I bought from Lowe's has a stream adjusting bell turns about 345° (just less than 1 full turn) and the stream changes evenly throughout the full 345°. The Viking turns about 540° (1.5 turns) and the stream does not change much for 200-250° of that range. This leaves the user spinning around that bell looking for the stream or spray type that may not even be achievable with this nozzle.3. There is no pressure stream, since the 200+° of stream does not restrict enough to create much pressure. The valve only creates a stream with a minimum of pressure. This means that I can only wet things that are within 19 feet, where as with my Lowe's model I can shoot out to 42 feet -- with spray or stream. (Yes, I measured.) 200° is just more than half a turn and most of that stream won’t reach 12 feet.4. The spray ability for the Viking is very limited. There is very little range of spray; either you get medium pressure in a 5-foot circle at 10 feet or you can stream or dribble. My Lowe's "mystery brand" is 5 years old and I am confident that it will last for 20 more years. This Viking just feels like it won't make it to 2015. Anyone giving this cheap thing 4 or 5 stars has no point of reference or is the kind of person who gives 4 or 5 stars to McDonald's. Take it for what it's worth.

Don't let go!
This review is a total do-over. I have now moved from a house with high water pressure to a house with more average water pressure. I first raved about the nozzle because it channeled the high pressure extremely well. With average water pressure it performs well, just not spectacularly like before. I still appreciate its durability. Sorry that I probably misled some shoppers, not intentionally.

Works great!
I've had this product for a little over a month and have used it about 5 times. It works great! I like that you can change the flow of the water the more you turn it. I think the construction of the product makes it durable and convenient to use. It also doesn't look cheap like other spray-type nozzles that eventually break. I would definitely recommend this product.

WOW what a hose
Wasn't really expecting to get an awesome spay nozzle but we did. My grandmother waters plants a lot and her nozzles (with handles) always break or crack because they are made with simple plastics. This on the other hand is super durable and not only easy on the hands (in terms of arthritis) but it has amazing nozzle settings. It can go from drenching a plant to spraying almost (give or take) 15 - 20 feet. Will recommend this product for intense watering. I know because I bought a second one after the first for another hose.

Not recommended, but okay for some uses
I thought this would be a lot more like a fire-hose nozzle, but sadly its not quite what I thought it would be. With my town water it will spray a fine mist, a straight spray and open it all the way and it makes a sort of water umbrella. I was expecting something more, but its not what I thought it would be. There is nothing wrong with it, and if all you need is a single stream spray or a fancy flood fill, then this will work for you. It seems fairly good quality and its simple to operate which makes it easy for kids to operate as well. Overall, I would not buy it again.

Viking fire hose nozzle
I've rated this as 5 stars due to the durability and quality of the product. I love the way it works BUT if you are not on city water (we have a cistern) you are not going to get the "fire hose" effect. I do not fault the product because I should have realized that fact myself. It does provide a strong stream when on that setting but keep in mind your water pressure is key. I really like it because it is nice for watering flowers. I'm satisfied with the product.

Heavy duty nozzle
This feels very heavy duty and like it will last a very long time. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't blast out as strong as most other nozzles. Still does its purpose and job though so I still do recommend it.

Works great, nice grip and I can adjust spray pattern ...
Works great, nice grip and I can adjust spray pattern with my thumb while holding it. Only downside is it only turns off in 1 direction.
