These LED lights consume low power at a mere 2W per tile -- providing a warm white light perfect for night lights, bedside lighting, hallways, kids' rooms, or just as an expression of your artistic creativity as a wall of lights. The hexagonal light tiles feature strong neodymium magnets and a capacitive proximity sensor. These magnets are superior in helping the user “snap” these lights together whether they’re on the wall or on a table. The proximity sensor is used to activate the lights when it senses your body’s touch. The high sensitivity of the sensor gives you the ability to simply glide your hand across the lights to turn them on or off. Once you get the itch to make bigger lighting patterns, rest assured that you can continue to add on more and more light panels easily. Due to power limitations, it is recommended to only connect 20 lights with one power adapter. Any more than 20 lights will cause the LED’s to output less light. Two wall mounting options are available – nails(check with your landlord or ball and chain before you pop nails in the wall) or adhesive pads. For the nail mounting method, use the wall template on the backside of the instruction manual. For the sticky adhesive pads method, use the included pads for a damage-free installation on most surfaces. *Beware of other vendors including the SUPER DUPER strong adhesive pads as they are worst than a few small nail holes and you may damage your lights or drywall/paint before the pad even budges. The lights come with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects, however a lifetime warranty is available with product registration.
