How do you change the batteries in the little blue tractor? I'm pretty sure it used to make noise as well, when we first got it.

The directions say to push the roof to activate sound, but when I do that nothing happens, but sometimes works pushing the hood. Which is it?

Hi Grangerb. To get the lights and sounds to work, please press down on the roof. The battery compartment is under the hood and if the batteries have shifted a bit, the functions may go off if the hood is pressed. Thank you.

Does the trailer come off?

Hi. The tractor comes off the flat bed portion of the ruck. The flat bed portion of the truck does not separate from the front cab.
